Obviously The Donald doesn’t get the same information that the rest of the world does. His original quote was that we should be bombing the oil-fields that finance ISIL. The French took out their storage facilities. Maybe The Donald doesn’t realize that oil fields are generally not in the center of population centers … but then again, there’s a LOT that The Donald doesn’t realize.

Agree 100%… I would just add, it’s not just Faux news, its also ALL main cable news outlet including MSNBC. Even today ALL the major cable news outlet refuse to talk about 6K+ airstrikes US conducted or the fact that the latest airstrike that took out ISIS leader in Libya. All the American people is getting are the GOP hillbillies babbling. Which is why people couldn’t tell you what is happening in Iraq/Syria/ISIS.

Folks need to get over Trump’s supposed ignorance/insanity. He is no brain surgeon but he is smart enough to tap the public’s ignorance, and responding with insults to his intelligence is exactly the screen he needs. He can say whatever he wants and it will be the first most Americans have heard on any subject whatsoever, and that is where their investigation will stop, because research is harder than Twitter or Action News: the Reckoning Reloaded.

Remember, most of you get news from Twitter too. How scrupulously do you screen every crumb of information these narcissists throw you? For once, there’s a lack of cynicism in this country: Dems ought to savvy that the cynicism of Trump’s campaign is far more sinister than his garden-variety wrongheadedness…which marketably echoes all the prevailing touchstones of illiterate American thought. These are your neighbors, folks.

Sticking to the 5th-grader level of discourse, as usual.

Not saying that’s a poor strategy for winning the Republican nomination, it’s probably a pretty sound one. But I still believe that won’t fly with the broader voting public, including Independents and Democrats.

[Edit: Though I wouldn’t rule it out if there’s a terrorist attack shortly before the election. Nothing regresses people better than fear.]
