(BeattyCat handing PeePee-in-Chief a napkin) Dude, you got some Chinese poop still on your nose. You donā€™t have to try so hard ā€“ they already granted you the patents. Or is this about Jarvankaā€™s upcoming visit to do their own butt-licking?

Heā€™s literally done nothing but talk about North Korea. Literally nothing.

What was the goal? Norko fealty? Disarmament? What was the success we failed achieve, despite China working up a geopolitically impressive (to Trump) lather?

Exactly, just so much more winning without remotely knowing how to scoreā€¦

While I greatly appreciate the efforts of President Xi & China to help with North Korea, it has not worked out.

Goddamned ADHD freak. You've been in office for 5 months. I guess this means when Jared comes up empty handed on his Great Middle East Peace Adventure you'll throw in the towel about Thanksgiving.
Get your hands back inside the cart, and no, you can't have any goddamned Frosted Flakes or a Snickers bar!!

Mr. Trump said he told his Chinese counterpart he believed Beijing could easily take care of the North Korea threat. Mr. Xi then explained the history of China and Korea, Mr. Trump said.

ā€œAfter listening for 10 minutes, I realized itā€™s not so easy,ā€ Mr. Trump recounted. ā€œI felt pretty strongly that they had a tremendous powerā€ over North Korea,ā€ he said. ā€œBut itā€™s not what you would think.ā€

I suspect that whenever Trump says, ā€œItā€™s not what you would thinkā€ā€¦

What he really means is, ā€œI like pie. Is ā€˜Barney & Friendsā€™ on now? Squirrel !!!ā€

Donnieā€™s trigger finger is getting itchy. Not surprised he had no intentions of letting China try to work it out first, two months of diplomacy is too slow for Trumpā€™s brand of idiotic decision making.

Iā€™d like to thank the Swedish government for looking out for American interests in the DPRK.

Hopefully they have plans to get their folks out, should things go sidewaysā€¦

It might begin as two, but heā€™ll find a way to consolidate it down to one great conflagration. If he has any talent at all, itā€™s uniting people who would otherwise despise each other.

His mind wanders to the possibilities of being the patty in a Steve Doocy/Brian Kilmeade sandwich.

Whoever thought N. Korea was so complicated?

If this was the Apprentice, Trump would just fire Rex Tillerson, and walk out with Ivanka and declare success. Meanwhile, the Trumpettes cheer and think reality TV is how to run the nation.

Get ready Americaā€¦the national crash is coming and Trump is the cause.

ā€œWe want to create peace between Israel and the Palestinians. We will get it done,ā€ Trump said. ā€œWe will be working so hard to get it done. I think there is a very good chance and I think we will.ā€

At a lunch later on, he was even bolder: ā€œIt is something that I think is frankly, maybe, not as difficult as people have thought over the years.ā€

Shit. For brains.

This is quite ominous, especially since Mattis and McMaster have essentially cut DT out of the news loop on defense/nat sec matters. This is why weā€™re having confusion in Syria. DT isnā€™t engaged on direct policy. We have no diplomacy to speak of, and Mattis/McMaster are just positioning the military to be more aggressive without rhyme or reason as to strategy.

This cutting out of DT has now been operationalized. Itā€™s going to be tough for DT to change it. But if he forces himself on that process, it could get quite chaotic and dangerous for everyone. The US and USSR had disciplined operations and tight control because they knew how high the stakes were. Now, weā€™re completely incoherent and dysfunctional and we have dangerous weapons. A lot of unintended consequences can arise out of such confusion and incompetence.
