Haven’t heard much from Martha lately. I take it she’s keeping a distance from Wall Street … personally, that is. If I remember correctly, she’s a Democrat. She liked Bill Clinton (I may have fault memory here).
I do not consume wine, but I’ve never understood why anyone would wish to grow wine grapes here. The climate is nothing like the Bay Area/Napa Valley or the Mediterranean.

But the Finger Lakes area produces good Pinot Noir and I’ve had good Viogners and Petite Verdot from Virginia. Almost every climate has a variety of wine grape that will ripen in it.

I guess what’s irritating/scaring me is that it seems as though people are voting for whatever they think is right in front of them. Not WHAT IS but what they think they’re seeing, projecting what they desperately need to see.
Too many Americans are angry beyond belief at - well, whatever. But the answers to their questions, their needs, their demands aren’t any closer than before. I just don’t know…
