Beat me to it…my very first thought upon reading the headline.
“Today’s ridiculous outburst only proves what I have been saying for a long time, that Ted Cruz does not have the temperament to be President of the United States,” Trump said in a statement.
Trump called Cruz a “desperate” candidate and characterized his words as “over-the-top.”
Now all that’s needed is three questionable men to go on CNN and talk about how Cruz shouldn’t have reacted this way.

Good lord…the man never misses an insult. Gotta love how Cruz ‘doesn’t have the temperament’ but never addresses what it would be like to have a conspiracy theorist as Commander in Chief. Really. Is this just all performance art?
I don’t know if it gets any funnier than this. Really. I mean, here;‘s a guy who has been calling Cruz "Lyin’ Ted" for months now, whose entire primary stump shtick has been one giant “outburst” without surcease, whose every comment out of his mouth has been deliberately “over the top” to pander to the raving Teatroll horde, whose temperament and ability to behave in a manner considered “presidential” has been in question from day 1 to present, so much so that he himself has been talking about how much he’s going to change his presentation to be more “presidential,” and who just goaded Cruz into calling him a liar by attacking Cruz’s father with a bizarre, batshit conspiracy theory that can only be called a giant lie by anyone with an ounce of honesty in them…and here is responding that Cruz’s “outburst” is “over the top” and shows his temperament is unfit for POTUS?
FUCKING. HILARIOUS. My irony-o-meter and hypocrisy-o-meter both just blew up in a shower of sparks and laughter. I can only imagine how blindly infuriated Cruz is right now hahahahaha!!! Oh man, Cruz and Derpy-D soooo deserve one another.
Since Cruz is helping to assassinate the Republican Party (along with Trump), perhaps he’s carrying on the tradition his old man started? And I, for one, wish him good luck ____ and carry on!
This, coming from a man who can’t hold a “discussion” without demeaning his opponent, turning red in the face and spittle forming at the edge of his asshole shaped mouth? Oh, that’s rich … almost as funny as his pudgy little fingers waving frantically in the air.
Who knew that not having a real platform, or for that matter, a grasp of reality could be so damned funny? Somehow one would expect a modicum of pathos, but with these two it’s like watching the Three Stooges minus one.
In Trump, the Right Wingnuttery is about to get its wish. The Republicans are about to nominate a mutant amalgam of all Infowars/RedState/Stormfront commentators as their standard bearer in the presidential race.
And I kind of like the plate being served up to the voters in that. Time to make a clear choice and see if we, as a nation, will come close to the abyss by soundly rejecting Trump
…or simply rush over the edge and into it by electing him.
