A number of high-profile fashion designers, including Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs have publicly refused to dress the immigrant. Whereas Michelle would seek out up and coming American designers and had a flair for choosing just the right thing for the occasion even down to wearing the colors of a country at state dinners. It wonāt occur to the Slovenian to support the American fashion industry and her look will be conspicuous consumption.

I donāt know why anybody posts what they do, but weāre going to have a liar and a fraud in the WH and heāll be following a pretty honest guy with solid family values and concern for America and a demonstrable love for his wife and daughers. Obamaās administration was scandal free, unlike others which came before. Tangerine goes into office with incipient scandals all around him. A cabinet full of incompetent people and billionaires and anyone else on the make is what heās proposing. Thatās the objection here. Honesty versus blatant in your face fraud.

And the next big formerly A-List event where similar decisions will play out is going to be the White House Correspondents dinner to be held this year on 4/29. I am guessing that tickets to this will be much easier to get this year. 
Can you imagine the WHCA bowing to pressure and moving it to the new Trump Hotel? Or imagine DJT and entourage actually showing up to take their seat on the dias behind a podium that bears a competitorās logo?
The only way that the A-List crowd shows up will be if Trump announces early that he wonāt be there. Too bad the same solution wonāt work for the Inauguration.

This should be an easy weigh for anyone who is just plain disgusted with this absurd fiasco.
No one knows better than Putin that Trump faces the very real possibility of being the only living human being on the planet Earth who believes heās a legitimate U.S. President.
If that happens, and it is happening as we speak, the benefits of appearing with Trump in any fashion would, at best, be superficial and fleeting. But if this mess continues to devolve into the disaster of democracy so many of us knew was coming, and Trumpās nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue actually unfolds, the fallout from even associating with someone certified a traitor/President will be devastating, especially if they get close enough for a pic. Selfies will be political suicide.
Trump can certainly delude himself heās the real thing, but heāll be the lone ranger on that front. The damage from his obfuscating and outright denying such a profound and deviant political event has put the last nail in that coffin. With the evidence he has, the fact Trump still is only concerned about Trump should be prof enough, we just donāt matter.

The technical legitimacy he is finally rendered in the charade on inauguration day will be wholly outweighed and overshadowed by that sad fact.
