Jesse Monday, 30, a beer vendor at Busch Stadium, is an independent who is supporting Trump. He believes Trump will help Blunt. In fact, he said he’s more likely to vote for Blunt because of his endorsement.
“One hundred percent,” Monday said. “Trump’s a big businessman and I support business. The country needs to be run like a business.”
No, you fucking idiot, it does NOT. That is the LAST thing we need.
President “Business”: “Do I save the lives of Americans? Fuck 'em, they’re bad for the bottom line…”
No, I say – no, No, NO!
GoPers can only blame themselves for allowing the thuggish Trump to overtake their very own political party! So lose suckers!!!
every time I see his Roy Blunt’s name I get this urge to look around for a Roi-Tan Blunt…
Roy Blunt: Missouri Senator or Romulan sleeper cell?
You make the call.
Blunt is a very bad senator in his own right. He represents all that is wrong with Washington
““I think I could be the 51st Republican in the Senate,” Blunt said.”
We can’t have this nitwit be in this position.
Long story short: Trump is causing a lot of Blunt-hurt in Missouri.
WOW!
rebuke senate lifters getting kicked to the curb in November…PRICELESS!
Every single Democrat needs to hang Trump around their opponents’ neck, no matter how red the district or state seem to be.
The more they try to run and hide, the stronger the linkage must be.
If anyone deserves to lose an election more, his name is Mitchy, but Blunt is a close second considering he started his Senate career as, forgive the crudeness, Delay’s bitch. He is the antithesis of progress.
It’s the Trumpy Old Party that represents everything wrong in Washington.
Wouldn’t surprise me if this headline can recycled many times between now and November:
Trump Could Be Deciding Factor In Surprisingly Tight __________Senate Race
I see where you are going with the surgically altered ears. And Romulans do favor subterfuge.
But they also highly value honor. So that pretty much rules him out.
Jesse should really take a look at Trump’s actual business record (four bankruptcies, 3500 lawsuits…). If America was “run like a business” we’d have shuttered several Southern states as “unprofitable, underperforming locations” long ago.
If I was Trump, I would want the election to be today. At the rate he is going, in two months the pollsters may be showing Trump behind in Texas, Alabama, Kansas and Nebraska… and every GOP senate candidate losing or tied.
Wow, Mr. Spock is running for Senate in Missouri? It always seemed like he’d like California better, but maybe there is a bigger Vulcan population in Missouri…
Quick study for those outside of MO who cannot understand why what appears to be a socially conservative state is giving GOP incumbent Roy Bunt such a hard time:
Blunt represents everything both Republicans and Democrats don’t like about Washington D.C. Insider special interests. He’s K Street corrupt to the hilt and ignores both the interests of rural farmers and inner city residents. Blunt hasn’t voted for an Agriculture Bill since he came to Washington. It’s beginning to catch up with him.
Blunt is also seen now as the champion of the Top 1% and their GOP global economy initiative that has left many family farmers destitute and factory workers unemployed. The TeaBaggers hate him worse than Romney.
Blunt’s Democratic opponent is a downstate resident with ties to the rural economy. This is the classic strategy that has always worked for statewide Democratic candidates in Missouri. He has that Governor Mel Carnahan appeal.
Remember how Missourians voted for Carnahan over John Ashcroft even after he died two months before the Senate Election in 2000?
His wife Jean went on to serve in his stead. Ashcroft went on to serve as one of W’s Attorney Generals. This is something that still stings among Southeast Republican circles as it’s very bad now among TeaBaggers to be associated with the Bush/Cheney Era or the DeLay K Street culture…which Blunt is on both counts. There is a lot of raw emotions still out there over the untimely death of beloved Mel Carnahan and the fraud that led up to the 2nd Great GOP Depression.
Trump is more or less seen as a jack*ss to most Missouri residents. Thank you, Mark Twain, for pre-conditioning the electorate for this absurd GOP candidacy. It will serve as a great excuse for Republicans to vote for a Democrat that they like but don’t want to admit they do.
“One hundred percent,” Monday said. “Trump’s a big businessman and I support business. The country needs to be run like a business.”
Oh, you stupid, stupid man.
Thanks for the informative tour of Missouri GOP dynamics. That does sound deliciously ominous for Blunt.
