Discussion: Trump Continues To Berate Press Amid 'Animals' Comment Backlash

The “animal” in the White House is, as usual, wrong.

This is the full context of what he said:
Sheriff: I want to be able to report suspected MS13 members to ICE without probable cause
Trump: Yes! The people coming into this country are animals!

The thing is, Trump doesn’t draw a distinction between immigrants who are MS13 and immigrants who aren’t. This is the “they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crimes, they’re rapists” guy.

Ummmmm…who exactly was “begrudgingly forced to withdraw their stories”???

'Cause I sure haven’t seen any “withdrawals”…

Taking another early morning ragedump from the golden throne, I see. Somebody tell the White House kitchen to stir some metamucil into his mashed potatoes.

previously on ‘The Donald Trump Show’

“My administration is coordinating closely between federal and local officials to investigate the attack and to further investigate this animal who did this attacking.”

Trump then said the attacker should be held as an enemy combatant and sent to the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

also DJT

“I guess a lot of people think they understand what happened, but he was a demented, sick individual, The wires were crossed pretty badly in his brain. Extremely badly in his brain. And it’s a very sad event.”

AP did it yesterday and this is a CNN report that discusses it.

Politifact has the gall to say Trump said this “in context” with previous statements about MS-13. Yeah, and ALL immigrants were mentioned in previous statements, so what a load of crap. Then they have the nerve to ask for money ad nauseam.

Sometimes Politifact comes off like they’re trying WAY too hard. (Giving Obama “Lie of the Year” for “if you like your plan, you can keep it” while dozens of more odious and destructive conservative lies about the ACA existed comes to mind)

I don’t want to spend a lot of my own time on this but I don’t think it’s very helpful to debate with him about whether he meant all immigrants or not. I don’t think that’s what he meant, or at least if you’d stopped him and asked for a clarification he wouldn’t have said every immigrant without exception is an animal. The problem is his inflammatory language and reckless, racist, and sadistic habits of thought. Calling people “animals,” literally dehumanizing them, is not a thing responsible public figures do. Period. But he’s consistently done that, and since the literal first day he’s slandered immigrants in a purely demagogic way. That’s the problem. Not how to define who he meant the other day.

Run for office. Register people to vote. Get to the polls.

A Congress with a spine and a conscience could muzzle this oaf.

I have to ‘admire’ how much Donnie and his creatures will lie, lie, lie and lie again on something so inane. OF COURSE, you called immigrants ‘animals’. This is not a one off. You’ve done it before…several times. The WH released a transcript where he called them animals in a discussion of IMMIGRANTS. The MS-13 reference is paragraphs before and if you want to say Donnie’s brain PINBALLS around conversations and he is unable to stay on track MAYBE we can chat but no. It’s BS…as is all thing related to the Faker himself, DJT.

The press may have unintentionally mis-attributed his “animal” remarks to all immigrants instead of MS-13 gang members as Trump may have intended, but, given that it’s Trump we’re talking about here, it’s not too much of a stretch for anybody to believe that he called ALL immigrants “animals”. I mean, he called Mexicans “rapists” during his campaign and makes offensive and boorish comments all of the time, so it’s not like it would be a stretch.

I think the genesis of Preshitident Skanky Manslut’s animus towards immigrants can be traced to his childhood. His father Fred Christ was of German heritage, a white christian supremacist racist and a Ku Klux thug. He was a very angry, very violent and hateful bigot around the house. Skanky Manslut’s mother Mary Anne MacLeod, was a Scottish immigrant and Fred Trump may have been constantly calling her an animal around the house with his children present. This must have left a deep impression on Skanky. So we now have a better understanding of Skanky Manslut’s awful choice of words. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has referred to wife v1.0 and to the First Pornstar Lady, both whom were immigrants, as an animals.
