One can always assume that any comment by the Asshole-elect is a lie.
Sessions should go on Twitter and began commenting on the fact that Trump is a thief and a draft dodging coward who made his fortune stealing form or stiffing others.
He should wait until I get my popcorn ready.
A conscious lie? Or just the ranting of someone delusional?
I know functionally there is little difference…
There is so much written about how social media is grooming the younger folks into adults who lack the skills for being honest and confrontational in person. Many prefer their difficult interactions to take place through the internet, etc.
Makes me wonder…
Is DJT the first Millennial President?
Newt was ranting incoherently about this on MORNING EDITION this morning.
(It must be the Fox News talking point of the day).
The thing is that Trump has received hundreds of millions of dollars from various Russians (often through significant money laundering chains) over the last decade. When he sees somebody getting money, he immediately sees that as a way to change your thoughts.
Pick up the phone and ask him, dickhead.
More weak attempts at distraction…it’s not going to work, stupid. How’s all that “winning” going for you?
Crooks and thieves with no conscience always assume that everyone else is just like them
Trump is the biggest dope that there is with this sort of thing. Fire him if you do not like him. And one wonders why conflicts of interest, even minor and side ones matter for everybody but Trump and his family.
It is a mad and horrible world that we are living in right now. For that matter, the claims he is making are one sthat the president should not make. As I am sure that somebody donating to Trump would be praised.
Conflicts of interest are important but at the same time need to apply evenly.
It can’t be said often enough: the only possible response to Trump’s accusations of conflicts of interest against anyone else is peals of laughter.
Everyone understood Sessions was a disaster waiting to happen yet Trump supported him any way…when will he own up to the idea the trouble he is having is of his own Making? I HAVE NEVER seen such awful judgement in a person of such pointed responsibiliy.
Unfortunately your popcorn would need to be ready sometime around the heat death of the universe.
The GOP fiddles while the WH burns.
Hello. The people in Saneworld, the alternate universe where Trump was laughed off the stage early in the primary process and quietly whisked off to an asylum to deal with the breakdown caused by the humiliation, have once again asked me to repeat a question.
How is it, exactly, that this thing right here isn’t causing public outrage and spontaneous demonstrations demanding impeachment? How is it that publicly attacking the Attorney General (who, incidentally, the denizens of Saneworld say find it equally inconceivable to discover is Jeff Sessions in our wacky universe) because he acted more or less ethically in stepping aside because own legal jeopardy presented a conflict is a thing we point and laugh at, view with resignation, shrug off as Trump being Trump, or just think of as the least of his offenses rather than obstruction of justice?
How is it that launching a smear campaign against the acting FBI director, who’s "acting"only because of of Trump’s naively corrupt belief that he could stop an investigation into his conduct and finances by firing the real FBI director, isn’t likewise resulting in calls for impeachment and very obvious evidence of guilt?
And no, the people in Saneworld say you cannot trade places with the version of yourself that lives in their universe. Sorry, not possible.
Beauregard may be putting up a brave face. But behind that white hood, I’m sure he’s crying his little eyes out.
"Trump’s accusation isn’t entirely true…
Virginia Gov. Terry McCauliffe’s political action committee and the Democratic Party of Virginia, not Hillary Clinton, donated money…"
So, it isn’t true at all, then.
I am certainly no fan of Sessions, but it does make me feel good to see him refuse to back down under Trump’s constant attacks. But he’s too much of a good soldier for me. If it were me, I’d quit, and I’d quit LOUDLY, going to the press and tell them how impossible it is to do the job with the constant negativity and whining of a boss who doesn’t even have the balls to fire me if he really wants me out. Stand your ground, Sessions. And then speak out.
I think someone else has told him to stay. Not sure who.
