Discussion: Trump Considers Several Candidates To Replace Kelly, Including Mulvaney, Meadows

Mark Meadows as chief of staff… what a wonderful idea.

it’s interesting that it seems that this position is de facto a MALE ONLY position :skull:

Actually I am for it. I live in his district and anything that gets rid of that POS would be a good thing locally. Anyone who works for Trump ends up getting screwed and forced to commit illegal acts and I would love to see Meadows do the perp walk.

May the best Rudy get the gig, for the lulz.

The last really great person you hired was, um, um, can’t quite remember. There are no decent people left that would consider working for you, nitwit.

Nobody wants the job? Oh right, maybe it’s because the (crime) boss is an “unhinged” “idiot.”

I can certainly see why you would want him to get the job. A Meadows perp walk would be a great money maker for PPV.

“by the upcoming threat of costly Democratic oversight investigations “

“Costly”?? You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, AP!

More members of the Trump family please. I vote for National Self-Fellatio Czar and Fashionista Cuck Kushner?

I think, that was Bannon ?

I don’t want to be an unpaid editor for AP but I’d have done more with the fact that Trump is flailing enough to throw out names of people who don’t want the damn job. For Christ’s sake, how long has he been threatening to fire Kelly? Since, like, two weeks in or something? You’d think a guy who touts his having run a successful business would understand a key part of the hiring process is talking to the potential hiree and being told he or she would take the job if offered.

And would Cooper get to pick his replacement?

Think he might assume that anyone would be honored to work for this MAGA administration. Can we say delusional?

Hope Hicks…she’s Trump’s most qualified person ever.

We can say delusional. But even the best administrations offer jobs, get turned down for various reasons, and manage not to announce the hiring somewhere in the middle of that process. Even when you don’t understand how much you suck, it’s possible not to announce a thing until you’re know for a fact the thing is going to happen. I’ve worked in publicity and that’s pretty basic.

This Trump administration thing is a bit like getting a root canal. Whatever gets it done the fasted is best because it’s going to be agonizing however it’s done. So I guess I’d like to see the worst of the worse, someone like Mulvanay, become COS. In the end this administration’s going to tank so lets get on with it.

Is this where Steven Miller swoops in to take the position?

No Senate confirmation required, the President can name the WH Janitor as Chief of Staff if he wants to, so, be prepared for the absolute WORST POSSIBLE CANDIDATE to be given the job.

Bannon made that acerbic observation about Cuck Kushner. Cuck just chats with Mo BoneSaw on SnapChat. Unlike Bannon, he does not speak in public.

I was thinking about the Mooch’s Bannon-description.

How does this ‘several candidates’ work ? They already work for Donald, so if they move to the CoS post, he will have to fill a new empty position …Kind of cheating ?
