I donât want to be an unpaid editor for AP but Iâd have done more with the fact that Trump is flailing enough to throw out names of people who donât want the damn job. For Christâs sake, how long has he been threatening to fire Kelly? Since, like, two weeks in or something? Youâd think a guy who touts his having run a successful business would understand a key part of the hiring process is talking to the potential hiree and being told he or she would take the job if offered.

We can say delusional. But even the best administrations offer jobs, get turned down for various reasons, and manage not to announce the hiring somewhere in the middle of that process. Even when you donât understand how much you suck, itâs possible not to announce a thing until youâre know for a fact the thing is going to happen. Iâve worked in publicity and thatâs pretty basic.
This Trump administration thing is a bit like getting a root canal. Whatever gets it done the fasted is best because itâs going to be agonizing however itâs done. So I guess Iâd like to see the worst of the worse, someone like Mulvanay, become COS. In the end this administrationâs going to tank so lets get on with it.
