This is very nice, and fitting. After all, Mitt “Self-Deport” Romney begged Trump for his endorsement during the 2012 election, a period when Trump was the most visible leader of the racist birther movement. One bigoted hand (granted, Romney’s hand is more genteel) washes the other.
Of course - Trump enjoys humiliating someone who once stood up to him even more than humiliating someone who has always agreed with him.
This year, Romney predicted Trump will be re-elected and accepted the president’s endorsement in the Senate race.
