Well, itā€™s not the most horrible thing that Iā€™VE seen in politics.

ā€œI donā€™t think I have ever seen anything like that in politics so bad,ā€ Trump said.

Iā€™ve had my differences with HRC, but itā€™s been said that she answers questions in complete paragraphs, which is impressive. Trump, while not as bad Palin, canā€™t make it through a complete sentence without fucking it up.

One of the right wingers who post here once wrote about one of the debates that Cruz was the smartest man in the room. That person may want to reevaluate that assessment.

The swine bites the snake. Or is it two enemy clowns locked in mortal combat forever in a paper bag? Or is it a re-enactment of the famous nude wrestling match between Tojo and Adolph? Or is it a tarantula vrs. a black widow? Regardless, this is what happens when two viciously selfish thugs with no moral compass except the elevation of selfishness go after each other.

This is like Bubonic Plague criticizing the Ziku Virus for being mean to people.

Barack Obama has set a very high standard, but both Clintons are extremely articulate. Bill used to answer press-conference questions off the cuff with a paragraph the best copy editor in the country could not improve upon for organization or concision. I was working as an editor myself when he showed up on the national scene and Iā€™d never seen anything like it. A highly trained mind and raw intelligence to spare is what that indicates. With Trump weā€™re talking about something a little different. Oh, and for the record, Donald, suggesting that protesters ought to be physically attacked is worse than sending out that mailer. Just for starters.

Man, this is going to be a long day.

Wow. Ted Cruz is a lying, sociopathic asshole who will say and do ANYTHING to win an election?
Who knew?
When Donald Trump is the paragon of virtue in your party, you are well and truly FUCKED.

Pfft. That kind of shit is par for the course for Republicans. Itā€™s only terrible because Cruz sent them to good white Republicans. And, of course, being Cruz, itā€™s grating like nails on a chalkboard and practically invites blowback.

Big surprise: Cruz preys on Iowa voter stupidity and gullibility.

All politicians who vie for the same office attack each other, some more viciously and dishonestly than others. This is routine behavior for all politicians, by definition, not only Trump / GOP.

Donaldā€™s probably pissed that his Personal Flying Monkey, Katrina Pierson, didnā€™t think of it first.

The only time Cruz was ever the smartest man in the room was in the mortuary at a funeral home.

Iā€™ve read accounts of Iowans upset their neighbors would see their (alleged) score for past participation in the caucus process. I think if you give a flying f**k what your neighbors think about your voting habits you have much larger problems that Ted Cruzā€™s campaign mailer.

The image of the envelope displays a whole suite of junk mail cheap tricks aimed for the inexperienced and slow witted. An implied threat - ā€œViolationā€. A phony bar code. ā€œPublic Recordā€ ā€˜stampedā€™ on the letter (phony, mendacious, false). ā€œTime sensitive documentsā€ā€¦yeah, right, itā€™s just another campaign ad. They even sprung for real stamps so that the reality that this is junk mail is obscured.

Since we all get junk mail festooned with these tired tactics almost every day, it truly does make one wonder if Barnum was right about the American public. I donā€™t know about Iowa voters, but knowing that someone is consciously and knowingly lying to me, and trying to hoodwink me with a piece of mail, does not make me feel positive towards the sender.

Thatā€™s some Abe Lincoln-level rhetoric right there.
