Discussion: Trump Condemns Boston Anti-Hispanic Hate Crime

Discussion for article #239664

…the presidential candidate finally condemned the crime on Friday."

Um…OK. What’d he say? Gotta quote?

Well, now would you consider this a form of ā€œLeading From Behindā€ or ā€œLeading From My Behind?ā€ It is Donald Trump, after all.

I am sure those 11,000,000 people rounded up to be deported under Trump’s plan will be treated with utmost gentility.

Too little too late. A decent human being doesn’t need days to figure out they should condemn two people literally pissing in someone’s face, because they think it’s what you would want.

Yea, I want America to be great again too, but as long as it’s occupied by people like Trump and Cruz and the like we’re stuck with the greatness we have.

Donald Trump is a ā€˜TITHER and YON’ kind of person. Does this made him a ā€˜FLIP=FLOPPER’? If he contradicts himself over and over again, does that make him a LIAR or WHAT. To actually follow his conversations is a feat unto itself. Sometimes I feel he leaves everyone to fill in the blanks.

ā€œI will say, the people that are following me are very passionate,ā€ he said, according to The Boston Herald. "They love this country. They want this country to be great again. But they are very passionate. I will say that.ā€

I’d hate to see a wonderful word like passionate become a euphemism for ignorant and violent.

Probably because no matter what he says about ā€œwinning the the latino voteā€, I heard he is ā€œsecretlyā€ meeting with latino news people to try to soften his stance.

Pulling it from your behind?

Repeal it.

Trump is only now beginning to appreciate the amount of damage his own demagoguing can do.

"I will say, the people that are following me are very passionate," he said, according to The Boston Herald. "They love this country. They want this country to be great again. But they are very passionate. I will say that.ā€

You know who else had followers who were very passionate and wanted their country to be great again?

Take this lesson to heart Mr trump and think before you bloviate.
I know, I know…it’s way too much to expect.

Honestly I’m a bit surprised he even bothered with two-day-delayed statement. My guess is his advisers convinced him that given his red-hot hate-based rhetoric, this was likely to be just the first violent attack carried out in his name, and that he’d better at least go on record as denouncing it before then next one happens.
