I don’t think Trump enablers understand how desperate some people feel about this.
If you thought a million angry Trump voters with vague notions and half-baked logic and self-indulgent agendas looked imposing, consider the BILLIONS who now wake up every day wondering if some careless midnight tweet will engulf us in a global conflagration.
Don’t doubt for a moment the desperation and the truth of that statement, whether you agree with us or not, you must acknowledge that the entire globe rests less easy because Trump holds the triggers to total annihilation.
Think on it. Whoever holds those keys also holds the security of every living soul in their control.
That may be why President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, when he inherited the suitcase from W, the entire world breathed a global sigh of peaceful relief, and no matter how you spin Obama’s security legacy, the entire globe trusted him and acknowledged it with that Nobel just as soon as he had the keys in his hand.
No one imagines that Trump will ever even be in the running. He has stated unequivocally he wants an arms race. He depends on fear and loathing for his power, certainly not solace or peace, and he makes no secret of it.
I have to say, from as central a POV as I can muster, the selfish complaints of those recalcitrant rowdies who put Trump in office were just that… selfish and immature just like their Orange Idol.
The worries the world now shares profoundly outweigh that contrived and cleverly cultured alt-right indignation,
They want high-paying jobs to re-enable their pre-2008 self-indulgent lifestyle…
The rest of the world just wants to wake up for the next sunrise.
Clown town.
You watch Elementary too?
Goog God, please grow the fuck up
Trump - providing further evidence that it is very easy to be rich, huge in Real Estate, wield power, be named Donald and be a bigoted out of your mind - irrational lunatic

That speech was a home run," Trump said. “We see what Fox said. They said it was one of the great speeches. They showed the people applauding and screaming and — and they were all CIA.”
“People loved it. They loved it. They gave me a standing ovation for a long period of time. They never even sat down, most of them, during the speech. There was love in the room,” the President told Muir. “You and other networks covered it very inaccurately. I hate to say this to you and you probably won’t put it on but turn on Fox and see how it was covered. And see how people respond to that speech.”
Nevermind the fact that a normal person that is secure in himself and his accomplishments doesn’t need to have to CONSTANTLY toot his own horn. My concern is that there are people that support this talk and see nothing wrong with it. This is some bizarre shit. Absolutely crazy. He has too much time on his hands. He thinks he is still running Trump Inc and hasn’t realized he’s not the CEO of America, he’s the president and must be inclusive. The guy is DANGEROUS.
A sick man in control of the nuclear codes.
TPM should’ve used the much better quote
“See what Fox said. They said it was one of the great speeches. They showed the people applauding and screaming. … I got a standing ovation. In fact, they said it was the biggest standing ovation since Peyton Manning had won the Super Bowl, and they said it was equal. I got a standing ovation. It lasted for a long period of time.”
And Roger Ailes was framed. A misunderstood genius–he loves America so much that he can’t express it in the usual way so it comes out wrong and people misinterpret. Forgive and forget.
American People: “Save Us!”
Democrats: “Nothing we can do!”
Republicans: “Nothing we can do!”
If ever a post hit a nail on the head, this one did it. Well said, sir. Well said.
The push-back against reality here is horrifying. To any objective observer, the speech was an absolute disaster. Moreover, it has been widely and correctly reported that all the people clapping were not CIA employees but rather Trump staff members brought in especially to serve as a gallery of flacks.
Trump is just embarrassing himself further, and showing just how mentally ill he is, by obsessing over this and claiming the contrary. How can anyone not see at this point that he’s nuts?
We should start a pool on the date and time of the on-air total breakdown.
At first, I thought…2 years max. After last weekend, I thought…hmmm…6 months.
Now…sooner than later.
This is spinning too out of control too fast. Republicans don’t seem to be too scared yet, but give it a few more days.
OT-Josh’s post about the FSB guy getting arrested for treason et all. I call bullshit on anything that comes out of Russia or news from it. The only way to look at whatever is happening in that scenario from the Russian side of it is how it helps Putin and nothing more. Whatever is happening, we’ll never really know for sure, and hopefully it’s a good thing in the long run, but I wouldn’t trust shit coming out Russia under any circumstance.
Fox News? Check! How long did it take Hitler and Goebbels to wrestle control of the narrative with the media? While this dangerous and despicable man along with his SSuport team will never gain total control, enough has already happened to be dangerously concerned. Trump is the most effective fertilizer for growing hate this country has had the misfortune to produce.
Well, the lazy dumb asses who kept saying, “He’s such a good business man” during the campaign are about to realize just why you don’t want a business man, especially a corrupt bad one, to run the fucking federal government! Stubbly little fingers on the nuke codes also, too!
Reminds me of that clip of the end of one of Stalin’s speeches where the crowd kept applauding forever because they knew the first one to stop clapping would get shot.
How unhinged and unfit can you get?
