Discussion: Trump Complains About The 'Ridiculous Standard Of The First 100 Days'

First 100 days? What happened to “on Day One”? How many times did he tell his deluded supporters he was going to accomplish the impossible on that spectacular day?

We so rarely get to use the beloved word “whinging” but if it ever applied to someone, it applies to PeePee The Loser

whinging (present participle)

complain persistently and in a peevish or irritating way:

“stop whinging and get on with it!”

Peevish and irritating - that about sums it up!

Take a deep breath. Most likely it would be Thomas, who is truly a stooge. The more I think about it, the more we really need as a nation to rethink the Supreme Court. My view is that it needs more members – maybe 13-15 – with new members having a significant but not lifetime tenure. Perhaps 18 years. That would make the Supreme Court a much less high stakes issue for either side in any given election, and it would stop our slide into an Iran like situation where we are being ruled by a nine person junta that is not effectively accountable to the polity.

It all comes back to what we all said early on:

There is nobody…and I mean zero people…in the White House now, who have any experience in the Federal Executive Branch.

W. for example, was a clueless dimwit. But he had a Cabinet that had years and years of collective experience in the White House. And they made damn sure they had the place staffed up, because the entire reason for getting in the White House, is to use the levers of power.

That’s not the case for Trump, however. His interests in being in the White House are entirely selfish and petty…to enrich himself and to massage his ego. And that’s it. And the people around him are just too inexperienced and ignorant to even be able to fill in these voids and use the power for their own ends.

Take Tillerson…the man has zero interest in anything beyond oil, that is painfully clear. His focus is so incredibly small, that he simply sees no use in pushing for his Department to be staffed up. Which is fine with Mattis, who has continued to exhibit the institutional disdain the Pentagon has always had for State.

Of course, Mattis also isn’t getting his junior positions filled. But that’s ok, because like so many generals coming up through the ranks, he has always thought the Pentagon had too much bueracracy. Who really needs to know where aircraft carriers are located??

So it really should be no surprise, that at the 100 days mark, the verdict is…they are unable to pull the levers of power. They don’t know enough to even man them and quite frankly, they aren’t even sure where they really are to pull them.

This has now reached the point, that its started a spiral. They are incompetent and inexperienced and screwing up on the public stage in a humiliating manner. So now they are finding it difficult to find the talent to come in and help them find…let alone pull…the levers. How many people have declined to take a seat in the White House now, or dropped out before confirmation? A half dozen or so? That’s unprecedented to my knowledge, this early on.

If he doesn’t like being judged by what he does in the first 100 days why does he keep bringing it up? No one else is talking about it as much as he is. He is such an idiot.

He doesn’t need to have any logic or reason to blame Obama, hence, there is nothing to “figure out.”

Message to donnie:

The man at the bottom of picture wearing a hat and smoking a cigarette passed 15 pieces of legislation in his first 100 days.

All rumors point to Kennedy. Thomas is lazy and has always been a complete waste of a seat, but from his perspective, this is the cushiest job he has ever had, and he ain’t about to give that up. Thomas’ seat will open up when they wheel his carcass out, and not one day sooner.

His wife won’t let him leave. Simple as that.

And why would she? She has a great little business running on the side milking right wing special interest groups who have or intend to have, cases before the court.

Its much worse than Scalia going duck hunting with a VP with matters before the Court…Ginny and Clarence are running a straight up influence peddling game…pay us XXX, and Clarence will let you write his opinion. Don’t pay us, and he will fart on the bench during your oral arguments.

If I wasn’t horrified that he might eventually succeed in even ONE of his abhorrent campaign promises, I’d be inclined to laugh a lot about his putzing around and griping.

Dining and discussing policy with Palin’s Mensa group that included a tour of the WH, takes a lot of time. Such wise experts doncha know. Engaging Congress, naw.

After bragging about how much he would do in the first 100 days and being a total flop compared to every other presidents record in my lifetime (and I am 60), it is now a ridiculous metric. This guy is beyond lying, he’s nuts.

Hey, I said the odds were growing, not that it was a sure thing. But I do think the odds that this is going to be a hot, angry, tumultuous summer are pretty damn high.
