I mentioned yesterday with regard to Grassley’s “give-your-mouth-a-chance, Senator” contribution that the Kennedy rumors might be anti-gay wishful thinking and liberal taunting, but aside from gay rights, do you know of any other Kennedy legacy positions that might be reversed as soon as he retires?
Odd though it may seem, Mulvaney stands out as the single most destructive, ignorantly capricious, dangerous single person in an administration where ignorance, caprice, destruction, and danger are the norm.

Anything Trump fails at is “ridiculous” - anything Trump succeeds at is amazing and beyond belief. Why do I think these are words little Donnie heard frequently in the Trump household growing up. If Donnie was having trouble, the standard was ridiculous - but when Donnie achieved potty training it was amazing and he was “the best boy ever!”
That aside, when Trump does succeed at something it is exceedingly rare and almost always by accident.

It’s funny how during the campaign the first 100 days were frequently his benchmark for empty promises on what he’d get done but now that it’s actually here it’s all about how it’s unrealistic.
Maybe taking every weekend off to go to Florida and golf since inauguration isn’t such a grand plan after all?

It’s pretty amazing that nobody at all in the MSM bothers to point out that this kind of shit from Trump LITERALLY makes him look weak and LITERALLY telegraphs his own awareness of his failure and the criticism he anticipates receiving for it, i.e., using this as the example, that he knows full well he hasn’t accomplished shit in 100 days and feels he needs to get out in front of people reporting it to get his misinformation narrative out there first. It’s like he and the rest of them are completely unaware that all they actually manage to do is reaffirm reality by protesting it too much.
However, I would caution folks not to be too smug about the “accomplished nothing” thing. What Trump and the rest ARE actually doing isn’t getting enough press because it’s not sensational stuff and the Dems are too stupid to get it highlighted with some loud messaging, but alot of it is still extremely damaging.

You are so right about this. I believe Trump and his cohort of crooked billionaires and right wing maniacs is doing more to undo everything good about this country from the EPA through education and the State Dept that he has actually accomplished more than I thought possible in a shorter period of time. He and Bannon are completely unraveling what was left of the norms of democracy and it is happening fast. The iceberg may have a clown dancing on top, but it is still completely capable of destroying the ship of state and we are on a collision course. It is his whining and clownishness that continues to distract from the actual and awful damage that is being done every day by Sessions, Pruitt, Tillerson and their cronies that is horrifying, and if Trump leaves tomorrow this steaming pile of shit of an administration will continue to roll downhill.
