Both Trump and Kasich credited fracking for Ohio’s good economy.

But neither Trump nor Kasich credited the major cause of Ohio’s economic rebound: the rescue of the American auto industry, courtesy of President Barack Obama.

I wonder how they both could have made that same oversight?

“So you know what? You can have him,” Trump said of Kasich.

So long as we don’t have you, Mr Trump.

Quickly, Wolf, to the Situation Room!

Yeah, Krispie can be a loose cannon at times.

No kidding, I can’t stand Kasich, but I’d rather have him than anybody else up there, and I’d rather have anybody else up there than Trump!

Edit: on second thought I’m not sure I’d prefer Carson to Trump and I’m pretty sure I’d rather have Trump than Fiorina. OK I’m going to stop playing this game before I have night terrors in my sleep for the rest of the week.

Trump in five minutes, accomplished what the Ohio Democratic Party failed to do in the last election: expose Kasich as an opportunistic fraud.

I know this is going to get me in trouble, but I have to say that honestly, imho, Trump is the least scary of all of them. Of course they are all scary and that includes Trump. And he’s a big-mouth, sure, but I don’t think he’s as evil as the rest of them.

So, has Trump ever actually worked for somebody else? He was in his dad’s company and then worked for himself…self employed but I don’t think he has ever had a job working for somebody else. He’s never sat thru a job interview. So what experience does he have that is in any way similar to that of Kasich?

It doesn’t bother you that this man who has zero political experience, has never held elective office is asking to become President of the United States? He bases his qualifications to be POTUS on his personal wealth and his business acumen. But America isn’t a real estate venture where the object is profit. He claims he’d be a HUGE success yet he hasn’t articulated any sort of plan or policy beyond that Mexicans are drug dealers and rapists and w need to build a wall along the border and get Mexico to pay for it. But he has yet to explain how he would get Mexico to do this (military threat?)

or that he tried to uproot farmers and their farms, in Scotland, which were there for generations, so he could build a golf course? Or, that he once fired Gary Busey and Meatloaf?

Having said all that, it does seem to me that Kitty’s point still stands.

Trump is weird. Lehmann Bros collapse-- " almost took every one of us with us (sic), including Ben and myself,"

Ben and myself? Somehow I doubt Ben Carson’s finances were much impacted by Lehmann Bros. Trump is trying to what? Co-opt his nearest rival? Twice or three times, he had some “Ben and me” comment, almost always in that dumb nonsequitur way he has that his fans think is so smart.

Kitty, I think I understand, or at least I can respond by saying first of all you’ve said Trump is scary. But to me the difference is Trump is a narcissist where the others are ideologists. He has no coherent philosophy or worldview, he just thinks everyone should pay attention to him. Beyond that, in the realm of imagination where most people in his position would at least give a modicum of thought, in their idle moments, to what they’d do if they had more power, he has no idea at all. The others have a very clear and very insane set of principles that guide them, no matter how much they’re presented with literal mountains of evidence (Carson is a creationist, people) that contradict those principles. Again, Kitty, if I’ve misinterpreted, let me know, but you said he was less scary. You certainly didn’t say he was not scary. It’s just the others are scarier. And I very much agree.
