More to the point, does Donald still jiggle the ratings meter? Did he do anything to MTP’s numbers? CNN’s or the program numbers of any recent media sit-downs, any Trumpian ratings skyrockets or have those days passed? Has Donald’s White Tree of Gondor withered?

I agree. He’s actually right that he’d just been answering Chuck Todd’s question.
On the other hand, I think part of Trump ain’t in it to win it – sees this more as a game, like the dog who’s afraid he might catch the car.
Not one person has voted for Trump. Not one. Loser.

Except that the dog doesn’t worry about catching the car. He just chases the car until he catches it. That’s what I think Trump is doing. In fact, I keep reading reports that he’s quietly building up a strong ground game in Iowa, NH, SC, and now in NV and other states. While it completely defies conventional wisdom that Trump is actually in this to win it, all the signs point to this being a serious presidential bid.

I really don’t understand why the media is asking Trump these types of questions. He is leading in the polls still - so why would you ask him when he will drop out? Clinton’s lead is getting smaller too. Why aren’t they asking her these questions?

Clinton’s in it to compete and win. Harumph’s in it to further his brand, not his world view or politics which are free floating at best.
what he doesn’t talk about is he is getting his ass kicked in polls that show him up against Hillary and Bernie sanders…why not ask him about those polls???

Well I have to sort of agree that America needs Trump but maybe fore a different reason than they think so the democrats can win in 2016.
