It can only end one of two ways;
- The 25th amendment is exercised by VP Pence and the Cabinet, removing Trump from office (which he will howl about and demand armed revolt in the streets.) (Don’t hold your breath for this one.)
- After the Nov. 2018 elections, during the Lame Duck Congress (after a huge Blue Wave that will give Democrats both the House and Senate in 2019), the Republicans will pass draconian law changes that will allow Trump to destroy the entire US Justice Dept. and grant him total immunity from any prosecution, EVER, with him pardoning EVERYBODY who ever kissed his ass, and FIRING most of the current Justice/FBI/Intel departments in a “purge” of Stalinist dimensions with a 5-4 SCOTUS backing him up at every step of the way (most likely outcome.)

Nixon, prior to Trump the low-water mark for the executive branch, was some part evil but mostly smart. His recognition of his situation was labored but spot on. Trump is mostly evil and only narrowly smart. He won’t see what’s coming. It will be a train wreck.

Khaaannn (make sure to say that in a William Shatner voice, BTW) is stating what the GOP would do in the lame duck session between results of the midterm elections and the seating of the new Congress in January. The GOP would still have power in the House. I do not think they would be stupid enough to pull some shit like this, but I wouldn’t put it past the craven motherfuckers. If the Dems take the House, there are a sizeable number of GOP reps who are screwed even more than Trump, since the Dems have this strange ability to actually hold investigative hearings AND work on legislation at the same time! What a unique concept, doing two or three or four things at once instead of trying to defame anyone who wants to show wrongdoing by the leader of your party! It’s almost actually like “governing”.
I really, really want to see Nunes in a puddle of his own urine. For 11 hours at a minimum.
