Discussion: Trump Claims Ignorance Of GOP Rep.'s Plan To Have Him Pardon Assange

Kelly did not deliver Rohrabacher’s message to Trump, instead telling the congressman that the idea “was best directed to the intelligence community.”

Guessing they already know about it. I’ll have to remember this snappy little conversation-ender the next time I don’t want to flatly call someone a traitor myself.

Rohrbacher is an idiot, but even worse…he is too toxic of an idiot for even Trump to get near right now.

Remember, Rohrbacher is the other person identified as receving Putin’s money during the taped conversation between the House leadership.

‘House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy was overheard saying, "There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and [Donald] Trump. Swear to God.’

He’s a charmer.

Considering the toxicity of the idiots Trump has warmly welcomed to the sandbox, that says a lot.

I suspect his legal team has weighed in very heavily regarding Rohrbacher

What is up with the “pardon” talk? He is not officially under indictment, let alone tried and convicted. Is he talking about immunity (crazy in itself, of course).

I find El Bufon’s claim of ignorance totally believable.
Never before have I been able to say that about one of his utterances.

Not knowing about something … anything …
Is not what he has ever ’ said ’ ----

It is just something he always … ’ does ’ – :smirk:

‘Traitor’ is such an ugly word.

Lets keep in mind that Trump is already living in his dotage, he might have forgotten about it.

Assange has not been charged with anything in the US so what pardon?

Trump claiming ignorance is about the only time I believe anything that comes out of his mouth…

But appropriate.

Trump NEVER has to claim ignorance… it is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer.

Or perhaps he told him to see a psychiatrist - someone in the ‘intelligence’ business - and Rohrbacher, not possessing much intelligence of his own, misunderstood?

I suppose it’s possible but I think making yourself as clear as gin is one of the things they teach you, or should, in general school.

“an eccentric pro-Russian Republican congressman”

I apologize for nit-picking, but upon completing some brief research, I must interject - Rohrabacher isn’t wealthy enough to be eccentric.

Dude is crazy.
