Various media are reporting this morning, after interviews with assorted Chinese trade representatives and government officials, that Trump doesn’t know WTF he’s talking about and they’re quite in the dark as to several of the deals and claims he making.

As to the farmers Don claims to “LOVE”, whatever relief he thinks he’s delivered for them comes way too late for those still struggling to hang on to their farms.
Even is true is meaningless. The US doesn’t build cars anymore, and the type of vehicles that does produce has very limited demand in China.
Farmers (at least the white ones) still support Trump by a large majority, and in general approve what he is doing. So screw them.

There’s a reason he used 41’s passing as an excuse not to have a press conference after the G20 – I’m sure it’s because he gave something away (possibly Hawaii?) in this “deal” with China and didn’t want one of America’s Enemies® (i.e., the Fourth Estate) to call him on it.
