Darn that Obama for âassaultingâ the car companies by bailing them out, against Republican opposition, so they could not only survive but prosper. Saving many jobs, upstream and downstream, in the process.

According to the Slate post, Trump was reluctantly for the auto bailout.
Its the banking bailouts that he had issue with.

Ack -, I was just about to say that I canât see how less efficient American cars are going to be popular in foreign countries that have their own, locally based auto companies.
Perhaps Rump (and American car manufacturers) donât realize that some developing Third World countries have their own, locally made vehicles. This move would make those vehicles much more attractive.
