Did Thimble-Thumbs express any interest in helping Flint’s water supply, or did he just go with his usual lying horseshit speech?
Hope he’s not enjoying his fix like he anticipated.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is directly related to whatever ideological mind-meld took place between him and that Knox guy who they talked to as one of the “victims” of Obamacare and who wrote the crazy letter to the CEO of some car company (was it GM? can’t remember).
How do foreign car brands manufactured in the United States play into Trump’s little narrative?
Wonder how long before it’s harder to draw a cheering crowd and he has to go back to hiring them like he did in 2015? Then he tried to stiff the firm that did the hiring and it became public.

Oh good
Word salad
No teleprompter
Kelly-N-Spice calling Kelly-N-Spice
Cleanup on aisle 3
“What President Trump meant to say …”
Oh so is he going to force all those Japanese manufacturer’s in the south to start paying taxes and hire union labor then? This is me not holding my breath.
Eventually, one of the foreign car makers will develop and sell in the US a cheap midsize emissions-free car and Detroit will be able to revel in the fact that Trump encouraged them to make huge gas guzzlers.
Could someone please explain what the heck he is talking about?
I doubt it.
Is Trump REALLY Rip Van Winkle and he just slept through the last 8 years? Does he even REMEMBER that Obama was President? Inquiring minds want to KNOW…
That’s easy:
“I watched when the US auto industry came tumbling down. And in Jersey City, thousands and thousands of Muslims were cheering as that industry was coming down. It was on television. I saw it!”
Trump said that he has “followed through on his promise, and by the way many other promises.”
Hilarious. Yep, it’s an ill wind(bag) that blows no good.

Well, I think it would be better if it passed. I’m not sure that it’s going to work. A lot of people are not – you know, it is trial and error. This is very complicated. This is more complicated than sending rockets to the moon. Nobody really knows what impact it’s going to have. Maybe it works and maybe it doesn’t. But certainly it is worth a shot.** I don’t love the idea that the government’s buying back all the bad loans. How about some of the good loans? You know? I don’t like the idea that the government, frankly, is going to be negotiating with people to sell those loans, because maybe we’d be better off having the best bankers in the world do that.
Trump wanted to let Detroit go bankrupt. He is so jealous of President Obama’s accomplishments.
Yeah, I’m really not understanding what getting rid of auto emissions regulations is going to do. Create cheaper cars? Enable more workers to be hired by the Big 3? What’s the point of eliminating CAFE standards? What is it supposed to DO?
Trump’s reply to Flint was to repeal the clean water act. That should help Flint Michigan, NOT.
He gave that speech near the National Vehicle and Emissions Lab, where many EPA employees have worked to lower fuel emissions. A nice FU to them.
I wonder if Perry Mason understands that the standard for libeling a public official is almost impossibly high?
