A shorter, more accurate version of this article would have been:
“Donald Trump said something today. But it doesn’t matter what he said, because it’s almost certainly 100% divorced from reality, and in any case, he’s more likely to walk it back or forget it tomorrow than to actually form policy around it.”
I know it would be tremendously boring to do so, but every article about something Trump said boils down to this.
