If Trump is bringing Mar-a-Lago into the conversation, someone should ask him about all the hundreds of migrant worker visas he has obtained for staff there, so that he can run the place on ultra-cheap immigrant labor.

He reminds me of Penn and Teller doing the cup-and-balls trick with clear plastic cups. The difference is they did it deliberately to reveal the trick. Trump is doing it because he’s too sloppy and inattentive to realize he’s using transparent cups in the first place.

First, should not all discussion of Drumpf start with the fact that he is the proud son of a racist slumlord. Fred, Donald and their company refused to rent apartments to black folk until they were forced to do so by the Justice Department in the mid 1970s. This is something he did.

Probably don’t exist. The name switch came, apparently, in the late 19th Century, in a pre-Social Security, pre-income tax, pre-driver’s license era, when you could just decide to call yourself something different without being challenged. In fact, until WWI, the notion of a U.S. “passport” didn’t really exist. Your identity was a pretty slippery thing.
