I watched the short video on CNN of this appearance. Should be labelled Trump Meets Humidity. Also noticed Melania looked cool and dry right next to him. Just an observation.
What the hell did anyone expect? He. Has. Narcissistic. Personality. Disorder.
Other people are not real to him. Their problems are not relatable because they are not his problems. Their problems are not relatable because they are just props. Most people have more empathy and connection with the non-player characters in a video game than Trump does with real people.
So of course he’s going to go there, see what he wants to see and say stupid, insensitive-sounding random things. Because the only problems that are real are about him. This is just checking a box he forgot to check on the last trip and is very, very unfairly being criticized by the fake news people for not checking. And now he’s there checking it and once again, he will be the victim of very unfair press coverage. Which he doesn’t watch.
It’s not about being mean or insulting. It is for honest-to-god really true. He has a serious, disqualifying mental disorder.
But at least we were spared the horror of a president who had 110 out of 30k emails that she should have realized were classified because they contained discussions of newspaper articles discussing the details of our supersecret drone strikes and a conversation she had with the president of the all-important, strategically crucial nation of Malawi.
