Over at RS
“He would probably be most pleased if it (Fox) dropped the pretense of being a news network at all and became a full-time arm of his campaign.”
So would I.
This is the bad news for Trump.
The bad news for us is that, if the ratings had been sky high, his treason would have been more exposed from jump street.
Seeing his family standing there for that game show would be hilarious, though. No matter what the survey said, he’d call it fake because he wouldn’t know the answer. Losing would make him cry “treason!”
I took a poll yesterday and found that 98.7% of the American public think I am the most charming and witty and handsomest man in the US of A! And I don’t have to back up my results with any data to satisfy you peons, since Trump doesn’t have to.
So bow before me, bitchez!!!
Trump is allergic to The Truth. He breaks out in hives when it rears its ugly head.
Considering how little truth actually makes it on the air during a FOX segment, it is a wonder Trump noticed it. Trump can smell truth the way flies smell crap… from a mile away, because that’s how far he usually is from it.
About a week or so ago, there was an article out that claimed he was directing his aides to lie about polling, that they couldn’t get him to focus on his campaign, and that he was more interested in campaign merchandise and rally music playlists than actual strategy. Several people questioned the article, thought it had to be head fake on the part of the PP camp, etc. Since then, we’ve seen one instance after another of people in his camp, himself included, fiercely denying the polling and the polling was so bad they fired their internal pollsters.
The “PP is an evil genius” meme has got to die. He’s not. He’s dumber than the stupidest person you’ve ever known. I’m not saying Democrats should assume he won’t win reelection. Not at all. I’m not saying we should underestimate the power of his hate cult. Nope. What I’m saying is that you can’t defeat your enemy if you don’t know him, and if you still believe PP is some kind of brilliant strategist then you don’t know your enemy. He’s an abysmal moron with the ability to fall up. He’s the embodiment of rich white male privilege, the personification of affluenza, but he’s not a smart man. And you’re not going to beat the biggest doofus in the room by always pretending he’s the wisest one in the building.
Hey, gimme back my poll!!
He’ll be pleased with Sinclair. Their local station here featured his Florida rally at the top of the hour.
Or not, since the interviewees all seemed to be Mr and Mrs Cletus Yellowteeth.
Ya there is that
I think the thing about the Faux reversal is his stupid trade moves are starting to hurt the 1% ers bottom line
They probably like it better with a Dem president and Mitch jamming the gears
That’s the funny thing about this. Fox News, for how responsible they are for where political discourse is in this country and Trump’s rise to power, does actually have legitimate polling. They hire out to a reputable pollster. But instead of thinking “Uh oh, even Fox News polling shows us down, let’s look to solutions for getting those numbers back up!” He just gets pissed and wants to cook numbers. Like, he can’t even comprehend that polling has a methodology behind it and it’s purpose is to seek out as much of an accurate snapshot of reality as possible. He literally thinks that polling is just news outlets making shit up. He’s that stupid.
I throw out about one mirror a year when it no longer accurately reflects how stunningly handsome I am.
But at this point, and on this topic, it’s hard to tell when he’s lying, when he’s relating what people who have learned to lie to him to keep their meal tickets punched and/or the world safe from his madness and when he’s telling more lies about the lies that the people who have learned to lie to him to keep their meal tickets punched and/or the world safe have told him.
I used to ping-pong, trying to decide if Trump really is that stupid or just willfully ignorant. Finally decided he is the real deal twofer.
Trump’s reelection team also reportedly has directed aides to simply deny the accuracy of polls that don’t reflect positively on Trump.
What disturbs me most about this is that this is exactly what you would do, if you thought you might be able to hack/change election results. Cast doubts on all polls. This coupled with Mitch’s flat out refusal to protect our elections has me reaching for my tinfoil hat.
What happens if the election results look different than the polls, do we believe the polls or do we believe the results. I think we have reached the point where people justify reasons for inaccuracy of the exit polls and pre-election polls. I’m not convinced our elections are safe and fair (or have been in the past), even aside from Russian social media interventions.
Except they do even their polling like they use Shep Smith as their respectability beard: they throw in several tendentious, push-poll type questions at the end to try to get something to talk about other than the horse race numbers but because they don’t diddle their sample the way truly “Republican” pollsters do, they are disappointed at the results more often than not and don’t report them.
Uh oh! They had better hire some Un-skewers.
SNL writers just sent you guys a thank you note.
