If American troops were still stationed in Iraq Trump would be asking why are they are still there.Or he would be complaining why are they not taking their oil. His head must spin like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

I’m very concerned that Trump knew so much about this attack before the media and authorities did.
I’m not saying that he planned the terrorist attack.

Hillary accurately described Trumps behavior, and Trump himself recognized that his own behavior matched the definition of treason to America. So Trump recognizes that he is a traitor to America, but as a narcissistic sociopath he has to blame someone else for his own failings.
How could the GOP inflict Trump on America?

This is one of my pet peeves. Any idiot, including most news readers, can go back to newspapers from 2008 before Obama was even President and see detailed coverage of the Status of Forces Agreement. That was a George Bush Production, as was the start of the war. George Bush is responsible for the American troops going into Iraq and he’s responsible for American Troops leaving Iraq. Period.

You are incorrect. i read recently that Clinton wanted to keep troops in, but was overruled by Obama. On another day, this would be used by her enemies to accuse her of being a hawk. However, it is impossible to know if residual troops would have stemmed the rise of ISIS.

giving them Aid and Comfort.”
Clinton didn’t imply that he was adhering to our enemies. She only pointed out that his dangerous rhetoric was fanning the flames of terrorists, which is absolutely true.

Actually ISIS was founded in 1999 by Abu Musab al Zarkawi. It started using the name “Islamic State” in October, 2006.
The Syrian Civil War began as a rebellion against the regime of Bashir Assad. This is an internal Syrian matter that had nothing to do with the withdrawal of American troops in neighboring Iraq.
Unless US ground forces were to actually deploy to Syria, something that Trump is not advocating now, their mere presence in Iraq would not have prevented the Syrian Civil War.
