Why? It worked the last time at half the price. I love how they are concerned with leaks and gaffes as mistakes, and not the mistake electing a person who begged on live tv for russians to steal information and turn it over to him

Most manufacturers of snark meters currently recommend that users download firmware updates every 5-7 days. Many people are still following the 30-day upgrade schedule that was in place before the midterm elections or (heaven forbid) even the 180-day schedule that was common before the 2016 election.
Every sentient economist and commentator on budget issues was interviewed over many outlets pre-election regarding what the result of Trump’s tax schemes would be. All but a scant few raving idiots on the right predicted these deficits. Their eventual arrival was no surprise or secret, not even to Trump voters.
Per Politico, campaign officials expect to have 100 employees on payroll by the end of this year.

That’s what I was coming here to write. The chaos is coming from the top and, as far as Trump is concerned, it’s a feature, not a bug. They can do anything they want, spend as much as they want, and it won’t change a damn thing as long as Trump remains Trump.
Personally, though, I’m fine with them wasting their money and their time.
Not all voters, certainly, but I think you are underestimating the ability of people to fool themselves. It will either be “fake news” or “Obama’s fault” and they will continue to support these policies.
