TRUMP: There are a lot of people moving here [to the U.S.] So what can I say? No, I didn’t know that she was nasty.

After listening to the recording, I have learned that I must never believe my lying ears whenever the speaker is Trump or anyone in his maladministration.

Everything about this fake Presidont is fake noooze.

Start an impeachment investigation. If the country wakes up to the truth, then impeach the motherfucker. If not, vote Democratic in another tsunami and flush out the corrupt swamp monsters.

That’s Duchess Markle if ya’ nasty.

Considering the company this puts her in, she should be proud.

The fact that he will be representing us on the hallowed remembrance of D Day is just disgusting.

Well, I must admit that I didn’t know that Chiselin’ Trump was always honest.

FFS. She does not want to meet POTUS for reasons that are completely understandable. She just had a baby and is not performing any of her royal duties and is probably a tad bit tired. Her husband is ā€œmeetingā€ him for tea or lunch or some such. He is not well liked in England. And yup he is a misogynist.

I posted this in another thread. His lusted after Princess Diana

Clearly, he’s just repeating what the other guy didn’t say.

Huh? Doubt that.

I’ve been more going off the thought that she would probably smash a plate over his head and start throwing things, which might be considered impolite during a State Dinner with the Queen.

Donny, you’re out of your element.

More proof, the guy belongs in a psyche ward.

Thing is, objective reality isn’t high on the list of things that matter to these people, so they’ll include that clip (documentation!) and say it says something other than what it says. Three times out of four it works well enough. If they start taking heat for this trick then Plan B is to deny it in some equally absurd way. Think ā€œI actually said Tim (Cook) Appleā€ or ā€œI meant to say ā€˜wouldn’tā€™ā€ or ā€œI don’t really think it was me on that Access Hollywood tape.ā€ When the boss is unconstrained by reality pretty soon nobody in the entire outfit is either.

Does Donnie have an element to be in?

Oh yes, a very dark, dank space under a rock.

This is straight out of the authoritarian playbook according to Masha Gessen. They put out a lie, knowing full well you know it’s a lie, but dare you to speak out against them. And if/when you don’t, they’ve coopted you -as he’s done to almost all Republicans.

How does that work if people get so bored because they know it’s always lies all the time, that they start ignoring it. Are we co-opted then?

And he is telling the U.K. how to negotiate Brexit.

Who doubted for a second that he would do this?

He and Nigel work for the same boss.

Idiots.

I do agree, however, that the context wasn’t the same as when he is flinging insult nicknames. But - he engages in Trump speak (his own code/narcisitic langauge) in this language ā€œsaying not so nice things about himā€ equals ā€œbeing nasty.ā€ They (the campaign) could have done a better job contextualizing what he actually said (hitting back in their words), but that clearly his further words (wishing her well) - said without his normal snide/cutting tone, shows he doesn’t hold a grudge and despite being insulted he wishes her well. That is what they could/should have done.

But instead this plays into the narrative that he is a nasty liar who calls everything fake news even when it isn’t. Not a great narrative to play into when heading into a big state event.

Idiots. Looks the campaign staffers are just as stupid as their guy.

I’m not sure -been lucky enough not to have lived under those conditions -but perhaps wearing people down is part of the program?

Hey, this part is actually good news.

For example, he’s come out and said what a great Prime Minister Boris Johnson would be.

Can’t imagine a more perfect kiss-of-death embrace to Boris’ chances.

If Trump keeps making well-meant advice, there’ll be a Second Referendum lined up in no time and Brexit will go to the dustbin of history.

So, basically, anyone who is critical of his Greatness is described in the worst possible way. No opponents; only enemies. And as enemies they must also be nasty, low IQ, failure etc because he simply is too insecure to withstand criticism of any kind. The source must be not only discredited but also demonized or worse. Ad hominem is all he’s got, and he’s weak at that.
