Discussion: Trump Camp: We're Not Trying To Stiff Pollster, We're Disputing Size Of Bill

Just like with every other contractor he screws.

The size of the bill? Yeah, well, that does make sense since you seem to have other size issues, Donald.

This tactic is consistent with Trump’s behavior. He agrees to terms then, when the work is done, decides the price is too high and renegotiates. Then that amount is too high and they have to renegotiate again. Ultimately the vendor gets pennies on the dollar.

Exactly! This is HO’s MO and Fabrizio should have known that going into this gig.

Of course, when HO loses on Tuesday, the renegotiated amount will go from $766,700 to $0. Just the cost of doing business with HO!

That seems to be Trump’s MO: he contracts services, and after they are delivered, then he disputes the size of the bill. It’s almost as if he enters contracts in bad faith from the get go.

I’m trying to imagine why this sort of behavior might be relevant to an election, but I’m drawing blanks. /s

Anyone who decides to do business with this man or his family–and not get cash up front–should know better by now. I don’t have much sympathy for them. Should Donald do what he does? No. But he is Donald … just like the scorpion who will always sting the frog after the frog carries it across the river – because it’s a scorpion, and that’s what scorpions do. Well, cheating people out of their hard-earned money is what Donald does.

Me too. Next thing you know they’ll be bringing up arcane trivialities like honesty and integrity and, you know, just pointless, meaningless crap.

I’ve pointed out before that New Yorkers have known about this con man for nearly 50 years. It’s not like all of his dubious business dealings took place in a vacuum. That anyone can be stupid enough to enter any sort of “deal” with him — especially from this point forward — is the height of inanity.

Miller told the Post that it was “a matter of internal state security.” After a short pause he corrected himself, “I meant to say that it’s an administrative issue that we’re resolving internally.”

“We are making sure that Mr. Trump is paying the correct amount,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller told the Washington Post. “The vendor in question is still very much part of the team.”

Of course, the “correct amount” as far as HO is concerned is $0. We knew that. But if that vendor is still really part of the team, he is an idiot.
Perhaps he violated the agreement, which stipulated that HO would be winning bigly in all polling.

This is always how it starts with HO. Just ask the guy who provided $600,000 in pianos to a Drumpf casino and got stiffed. This is an angle of oppo that I have felt never got the push it deserved

Translation: We are trying to determine how much to stiff the pollster.

Trump always disputes the cost, forcing the contractor to take a much lower sum than was agreed upon in the contract.

Donald’s response to you: “That makes me smart.” /not snark

(also, I’m referring to him by his first name because I’ve read Hillary does it because it pisses him off for people to not refer to him as “Mr. Trump.”)

Grifters gonna’ grift and once a deadbeat always a deadbeat. You’d think grown ass adults would know better than expect a scammer, fraud and cheat to pay his bills or honor his word. SAD!

(*Although! I hear he did offer them free entry to Trump University and a complementary gift basket filled with Trump wine and Trump steaks.)

Hey pollsters! BTW! Polls indicated that there was a 100% probability that he would stiff you.

Actually it emphasizes the fact that he has no title of honor. In comparison to say Secretary of State, Mr. is a not so subtle burn.

Me either.
For the little guy sez Trump.
In your dreams .
They totally disabled Mittens with the testimonials from people who lost their jobs courtesy of Bain .
They would have had no difficulty finding people he stiffed or swindled .
I guess they figured the racism, sexism general obnoxiousness and stupidity would be enough to derail him.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the American Voter

Trump’s perennial insistence on fair pricing is why he’s been using his own damn businesses as vendors so much. It’s an elegant solution: You pay campaign money to your own business, you treble the normal prices, everyone’s happy because everyone is you. Ma and Pa Dullwit who sent in what little’s left over from their Social Security checks lose out but you know what? Fuck them, I’m Donald Trump and I approved this expenditure.
