It is up to the Democrats and the Clinton campaign to break this open. If thry don’t have the balls and the smarts to pounce now they probably don’t deserve to win.
Florida Democratic officials should demand a criminal investigation. Democratic Senate and House leadership should demand an FBI investigation. David Brock’s PAC should start throwing up ads, starting with the Watergate like statements and walkbacks. Just putting Trump’s statement up against Hick’s walkback. They should be tied into the Trump U case and the Floridians fleeced.
It doesnt take a genius to figure this out. One of my kids asked me earlier today why the Democrats haven’t gone after this gift of an issue, and I answered because the Democrats aren’t tought enough. It doesn’t seem like the nice thing to do. Please, Democrats and Clinton prove me wrong!
In his latest paean to the family Clinton, Mr. Trump offered assurance to the voting public: “But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I’m going to say this again: I did not have unlawful financial relations with that woman, Miss Bondi. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to scamming and grifting the American people. Thank you.”
Its like mind-fucking 101. Doesn’t anyone have the balls or gravitas to stand up to this asshole and confront the hell out this bullshitter? It’s fucking embarrassing we have no one in our press corp anywhere that even tries. Nor does tRump let those types of reporters get within 100 feet of him either, even if there were someone out there capable of that.
Yeah it seems that sometimes the dems seem to think taking the high ground means being nice. Sometimes in dealing with the gop u have to be as big as ass as they are
MS Hicks asserts that Donald has paid the foundation back the $25,000. If you want to blow this wide open then ask to see a copy of the canceled check. There is no way that Trump has actually paid that money back.
Frankly, I’d like to see Clinton pull something Obama would do, which is to turn the tables on the press and ask them why they are bothering to ask her questions about tRump when they should already have the answers to many of those questions if they were just doing their job and had asked tRump himself what he meant…which they don’t bother to do. They just seem to like to quote him, usually some idiotic insult, and then ask Hillary what she thinks about it. Its “he said, she said” at its worst.
Right. He never mentioned Trump U. She did. Conversation went thusly:
Bondi: Mr. Trump, As Attorney General of the great state of Florida, I just want to let you know our investigation reveals you committed fraud under the laws of our state. It appears you defrauded Floridians of better than $2,000,000, but it may very well turn out we were mistaken in our investigation if $25,000 suddenly showed up in the account of the Bondi for AG campaign from a certain someone who may or may not have the last name Trump. Not saying he does. Not saying he does not, but if someone were to make such a donation it would show that Trump U’s apparent fraud was all an innocent mistake. And I apologize in advance for our mistake.
The most important and telling question should be…
"So Mr. Trump how many times (other then this $25,000 illegal donation) have you contributed to Ms. Bondi for her election campaigns for AG of Florida?
People at this level really don’t have to talk about what they’re doing explicitly at all. The very fact that they’re in contact provides enough context.
