Discussion: Trump Camp Using Plainclothes Security To Identify, Remove Protesters

Discussion for article #247119

Ah, nothing like some good ol’ brownshirt activity to ensure that no dissenters are in the audience.

Same thing with the Nazi Salute-- helps to identify who didn’t salute at your local Trump Nuremburg Rally, so you can persecute them later.

Your remarks are great.

And they are NOT snark to me in any way

Beat me to the punch. I was going to comment that their clothes may be plain, but their shirts are all the same shade of brown.

“Donald Trump’s campaign has started using plainclothes private intelligence officers to identify and forcibly remove protesters.”

I’m not sure the Third Reich reference is appropriate here.
These are infiltrators and secret informants – not just thugs, but snitches.
I prefer an obvious Post-War reference.

Right, plainclothes: plain brown wrappers, in fact.

Actually, we should probably just resurrect a good old American term here: Pinkertons!

This is going to end badly. Non-authority audience members will think it’s just other regular people taking action, and so they’ll think it’s ok to take “justice” into their own hands. (The confusion underlying such a scenario is also why you don’t want civilians shooting back at shooters: when the police show up, they won’t know who’s the “good guy” or the “bad guy.”)

Not to mention the indications that the press will eventually become part of a propaganda machine.

It started with the MSM CEO who said that Trump was good for his Bottom Line.

Should utilize Bush’s “Free Speech” zones.

Could you imagine the uproar if Obama had ever imposed 'Free Speech" zones? How about a “Second Amendment” zone for the Arizona armed protest early on during his term, sure that would have floated like a lead balloon.

there is an open question if the steaks Donald Trump displayed at his press conference last night were actual “Trump Steaks” or if they were from a local meat wholesaler, Bush Brothers Provision Company.
Reporters are still awaiting official word from the Trump campaign…but the AP is reporting that the club does indeed use meet from Bush Brothers…labels on the steaks displayed Tuesday night appeared to match those of a company called Bush Brothers. A club staff member said that’s the butcher that supplies the club.

A major contributor to our present mess.

Trump then held up a copy of what he said was “Trump Magazine” to prove it was still in existence. Except the magazine he held up was titled, “The Jewel of Palm Beach” and it’s an annual publication that is only distributed at his Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago

Plainclothes? Shouldn’t they be wearing brown shirts?

Nah, they started out wearing brown shirts, but soon went full on black. Just Label them with SS

From wiki

The Schutzstaffel (SS; also stylized as Runic “ᛋᛋ” with Armanen runes; German pronunciation: [ˈʃʊtsˌʃtafəl] ( listen); literally “Protection Squadron”) was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP; Nazi Party). It began with a small guard unit known as the Saal-Schutz (“Hall-Protection”) made up of NSDAP volunteers to provide security for Nazi Party meetings in Munich. In 1925, Heinrich Himmler joined the unit, which had by then been reformed and given its final name. Under Himmler’s direction (1929–45), it grew from a small paramilitary formation to one of the most powerful organizations in the Third Reich. From 1929 until Nazi Germany’s collapse in 1945, the SS was the foremost agency of surveillance and terror within Germany and German-occupied Europe.

Trump CLEARLY is not expecting to be the presidential nominee. So what IS his goal?

Emperor? Manager? Power broker?
