There is nothing I can read or hear that will make me feel any sympathy for Sessions - he is doing tremendous damage to the Justice Department. Trump’s insults, as always, are neither surprising or clever. I hope there are things of more substance to come out of Woodward’s book than Trump insulting people and people insulting Trump.

The WAPO article says most of the book deals with substantive policy stuff (Muslim Ban! Trade Wars! Locking up children in cages! You know, Trump policy.

Welp, Woodward’s publisher picked a mighty fine time to release the book. It’s still 2 months before the election but that just gives everybody time to discuss it.

What kind of Dems we got running in that state? This should be fun. If this doesn’t help a few of them in their bid for any kind of office down there, I don’t know what will.

I couldn’t agree more. We all knew he had little respect for his base, but in ridiculing Sessions in this manner, he’s ridiculing his base. And I think they know it. It’ll be interesting to see where his poll numbers go after this news is digested.

Spanky just wrote an ad for any southern Democrat running against a Repug endorsed by Trump. If it tips even one race, it will be worth it.

you know what? Somebody needs to put up billboards all over Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas with that quote from Trump about Sessions: “He’s a dumb southerner.”
