Everybody but the USA?
Vladimir and I decided to invade Europe.
Donald the Neediest: Putin likes me! He really likes me! He said the best things! I got the best promises!
Vlad patted him on the head and told him he was a good boy. So he’s happy.
Or he promised a Trump Tower in Moscow to be built - with leveraged funds from Oligarchs.
Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
You just know in the joint presser Trump is going to disparage the Mueller investigation as bogus and harmful to U.S.-Russia relations. He’ll somehow hint, or outright state, that Russia isn’t to blame, possibly even attributing his confidence in their relative innocence to reassurances from Putin.
Any video of the handshake? I’m betting that Trump didn’t deploy the dominance handshake, and instead, was very submissive to his puppet master.
Absolutely there will be tapes – the Russians, however, will only release them if Spankee steps out of line.
As trump drags as closer to Russia - after verbal hostilities (in person, followed by subsequent “foe” comments) towards EU leaders - the EU ministers meet - and create even more daylight between the US and the EU. Of course the breach allowing for the daylight was created by Trump and his Admin.
Did Putin promise to buy DRumpf a pony for Barron? Did DRumpf get his book of famous dictators signed by his favorite, Vlad the Impaler Putin? Did the dog Putin brought to the meeting give DRumpf a cold look and grit its teeth? Inquiring minds want to know…
One thing we can be sure of…the GOP lawmakers that attended the July 4th meeting with the Russians, Sen. Richard Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Thune (S.D.), John Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.) and John Hoeven (N.D.), and Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas), will all say what a great thing this is because they too are guilty as hell for collaboration and complicity with Russia. I still don’t get why that shit happened either.
Start of what?
then why are they all looking down…not making eye contact? Also did anyone notice that putin wouldnt look trump in the eye? all the while was like a puppy in need of attention.
Its only a matter of time before they can rosenstein and claim that the meddling never took place. Just like 43 and darth with the 911 investigation…whitewashed to shit…
Whoa, slow down. Don’t ask for information about the real world from a Trump statement. It’s purely emotional. A “good start” is a good thing that by definition lacks any real-world results that could be verified. Hey, it’s a good start, right?
Think we’re approaching a critical juncture of the #trumprussia scandal. I thought Trump made several fatal errors last week exposing himself as a traitor.
This week, I believe Vladimir intends to make Trump push the agenda he wants (sanctions, Crimea, nukes, cyber, NATO), and I don’t think Trump can deliver. When that becomes clear, Trump falls.
Putin has gained political capital from demonstrating his cunning on the world stage. He has weakened the US and tied our politics up in knots. But outside of getting control of the basket case that is Syria, he hasn’t achieved that much from a Russian perspective (and is getting Syria really something of value? Seems more trouble than it is worth). In fact, I think Putin has unleashed a greater sense of initiative among the other nations of the western alliance to flex their muscle, exert their power and protect themselves. Border region countries are stiffening against Russian aggression. Putin is unwittingly demonstrating that the western alliance is stronger than just 1 leader or 1 nation.
I’ve said for two weeks now that I think Trump is at the weakest he has been since he entered the WH. I continue to maintain that.
Don’t forget Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson in that list.
He’s my Senator.
I haven’t forgotten.
They’ve met several times (even before Trump was selected) and talk “occasionally.”
They’ve had their start.
I don’t want to become a one trick pony: and I have made similar comments on Washington Monthly, but it always strikes me that whenever Mr. Trump has an important meeting he is surrounded by a sea of White faces. I think this visual message speaks louder than anything he says or tweets.
But that was in the past. Which for Trump is a hazy, indistinct thing, and he thinks everyone is like him. It’s wiped away like a whiteboard and we start over every day.
