I used to support efforts like this. Now, not so sure. Turns out that there are no term limits for lobbyists. They’ll hang out near the legislators, like so many undead, while a new and inexperienced class of legislators is ushered in and then out of the halls of Congress. Stuff is bad enough with lobbyists now. It’ll only get worse with term limits. My earlier self is shocked at the conclusions I now reach. But there you are.
We have term limits for Congress; they’re called elections.

Wow. That makes two positions of Trump’s with which I concur. The other is that Ivanka is attractive.
Neither is sufficient for me to give him my vote.
Trump talking about ethics is in the same category as Trump talking about how much he respects women and how he is the least racist person ever. Now we know while he may not have actually shot and killed someone in the middle of Fifth Ave, the Creeper-in-Chief wannabe did in fact admit to groping sexually assaulting and force himself upon an as yet undetermined number of young women both near the middle of Fifth Ave and in private.
I have an ethics reform idea. It’s called campaign finance reform.
If you want to make a difference, pledge to undo the effects of Citizens United, one way or another. And while you’re at it up the estate tax to 100% after $10 million.
If there are term limits without campaign finance reform, then Congress will become even more of a rubber stamp for lobbyists.
