No. In HTML that means “snark ends here”.
There is a < snark > (starts) followed by actual snark, ending at the < /snark > (end of snark) sign.
< snark >Actual snark< /snark>.
All HTML, in fact, all UML kinda works this way. XML, too.
Markup languages (ML) are notoriously verbose, but that is how they identify things.
I had to edit this to change the way it treated my words as actual mark up. Typing a < or the </ immediately followed by your identifier, hides the mark up when it displays your intent. You have to place put in some extraneous spaces to make it stop it’s marking up.
Speaking of unhinged, this will really make Donald jealous and remind him Putin has a bigger dick! Hell Putin will probably use his dick to push the button.
The POTUS is conducting tit for tat feuds on Twitter because he’s got nothing else to do. He’s been effectively quarantined in legislative timeout limbo.
Thank you for the clarification.
A few posters on TPM are able to display two or more different type faces such as Arial and Times New Roman, within their posts. That sort of thing I believe used to be accomplished by the < font> tag. I know how to get bold face using the “pound” sign. But how do I get more than one typeface for posts here?
I had to watch that awful ad saying how fucking wonderful Neil Gorsuch is during Rachel Maddow and the fucking snowflakes watching FOX lose their shit over this?
