Trump Calls Cancelled N. Korea Summit ‘A Tremendous Setback’
A tremendous setback. A great setback. A lot of people are calling it the best setback ever.
The Dems and the media have to jump all over this. Trump looks weak and needy to a murderous tyrant, after an impulsive decision meant to make himself look good and let his allies talk about him deserving the Nobel Peace Prize!!
Bad judgment. Bad intentions. Bad results.
Now South Korea looks like crap, too, and their leader is weak and needy vs. Kim as well. Trump has hurt our allies and helped our foes.
Trump noted later in his remarks that South Korea and Japan had assured him that “they are willing to shoulder much of the cost of any financial burden, any of the costs associated by the United States in operations if such an unfortunate situation is forced upon us.”
It appeared he was referring to military action against North Korea.
We’ve reached DOLTCON 2.
“It was a tremendous setback.”
Some might have said “unfortunate” or “disappointing,” since “tremendous” often connotes extremely good or impressive.
But, with Trump, everything is about size and bigliness. I mean, this setback was huge, enormous, immense, colossal, massive, prodigious, stupendous, monumental, mammoth, vast, gigantic, giant, mighty, epic, titanic, towering, king-size, jumbo, gargantuan, Herculean …
Trump just looks like the fool that he is.
Really, who didn’t see this coming?
Can’t make yourself President for Life without some major conflict going on.
It would save us and the world a lot of time if reports simply stated “Trump babbled incoherently for (X) minutes today”
Successfully engineering a tremendous setback out of what had been a static situation. #winning
“a tremendous setback "
That’s quite a coinky-dink, Donald, considering that’s what we’ve been calling you since January of 2017.

[/quote]Of course, he could have been referring to the increased cost of a bucket of KFC chicken. It’s difficult to tell when someone has to provide the context for one of his errant or tangential comments. That being said, I think he was, indeed, referring to military action against the again-to-be-referred-to-as Little Rocket Man (who broke my heart). Because I bet he’s got military action on his mind after some whispering by the mustachioed one.
A tremendous setback, apparently of your own making, DJT. You wrote that remarkable tear-stained, love-threat-letter, didn’t you?
Dang, … Welp, I guess the White House will be dumping alla those fancy schmancy coins on Ebay shortly
Take note of his spin on the economy and banks, ill informed suckers wiill lap it up. The man lies very effectively…
Time to have someone start with the Crooked Donald, hammer on his ties to Cohen… Find someone that can out Trump trump…
Here we have “the art of the deal”…
trump got insulted
Ooopsie
Deal off
Trump noted later in his remarks from the White House’s Roosevelt Room that South Korea and Japan had assured him “they are willing to shoulder much of the cost of any financial burden, any of the costs associated by the United States in operations if such an unfortunate situation is forced upon us.”
I have a feeling that Japan and South Korea didn’t exactly jump up and down in excited happiness and agree to support a war against North Korea since, being in that geographical proximity, they would be the ones who would be, like, you know, VAPORIZED!
Not to be confused with a “tremendous seatback”, which is what Donald calls the stack of pillows he rests against during Executive Time.
