Oh, here’s Ivankadonk trying to clean up Daddy’s messes.

At this point there’s really not much doubt about what’s going on here. This administration has consistently pandered to anti-Semites. It’s unmistakable.

A Republican friend of mine always wonders why Jews tend to vote Democratic. Talk about a blind spot.

I’m pretty sure that I understand the disappointment and anger here, but on the hand, I’m not sure that I would want Trump to visit (defile?) a site that I held sacred. But that’s me. Too bad our president is both head of state and head of government.

His handlers were afraid he would say or do something totally inappropriate, as he did with this speech:
“Under a double occupation the Polish people endured evils beyond description: the Katyn forest massacre, the occupations, the Holocaust, the Warsaw Ghetto and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising…”
When he equated the Uprising as an evil beyond description.

We deeply regret that President Donald Trump, though speaking in public barely a mile away from the Monument, chose to break with that laudable tradition. We trust that this slight does not reflect the attitudes and feelings of the American people.

It reflects the sentiments of at least 63 million U.S. citizens.

They did this in the name of the American people, who had played such a central role in bringing down Fascism,

Trump is probably wondering where you visit if you want to bring back fascism.

Trump heard the term ghetto and thought “what do they have to lose”.

I can tell you that plenty of Poles won’t feel insulted that Trump did not acknowledge the suffering of non-Polish people.

Kehlsteinhaus, it’s where all the elite fascists meet!

“I am deeply moved by the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial. And doesn’t my ass look great in my designer dress when I bend down?”

Oh there are plenty of places to visit if you want to bring back fascism…Auschwitz, Treblinka, Bergen-Belsen…

TRUMP:
Warsaw Ghetto - too drab - too sad

  • need to punch it up a bit - use brighter colors
  • and gold - yes - lots of gold - and a couple of nice restaurants
    then maybe I’d visit.
