WTF? Illegal??? The GOP is a private political party. It can legally dump Trump. The only question is whether or not there is political will to do it, but the law does not enter into the equation.
Trump is a moron.
I have tremendous support and get the biggest crowds by far and any such move would … be totally illegal…
Once again, Trump displays his vise-like grip on the meaning of the law.
We’re just doing that job to make sure that he’s not the face of our party.”
I’m so fucking happy the Repub party is soooooooooo… screwed.
He reasons like a 10-year-old.
On crack.
The Republican Party is a private club. Their convention can adopt any goddamned rules the delegates and committee chairs want. The conduct of the convention is not a matter governed by civil law. Is Trump saying no matter what a presumptive nominee does between the last caucus/primary and the convention is to be disregarded? Impotent bluster be thy name.
Sue them! Please!
“any such move would not only be totally illegal but also a rebuke of millions of people”
Despite that, I still reject this effort.
Love,
Mr. Trump
“This literally is an ‘Anybody but Trump’ movement,” Kendal Unruh, a Republican delegate from Colorado who is leading the campaign, told the Post. “Nobody has any idea who is going to step in and be the nominee, but we’re not worried about that. We’re just doing that job to make sure that he’s not the face of our party.”
Nice. How about the Thrilla From Wasilla, then?
Or Virginia Foxx.
Trump released a statement to The Post
Which turned out to be only a cardboard cut-out, since they had been previously barred by Trump.
He has tremendous! He has biggest! And he’s going to ask Wayne LaPierre to consider a moment of silencers!
I can see it now… Trump v Ryan on The People’s Court. Priebus will be a witness for both sides.
Another thing, Donnie, you lie about your crowds.

but also a rebuke of the millions of people who feel so strongly about what I am saying.”
Damn straight skippy.
Please tell me that’s yours. Excellent.
I would like to take this opportunity to announce my availablity for the Republican nomination for President.
Why me? Because unlike the rest of the candidates, I haven’t lost yet. Unlike the presumptive nominee, I can read words off a teleprompter. And stay on script.
And I take my meds on schedule.
Of course, as a current (minor) officer in my state Democratic Party, I do have some policy differences with the current Republican Party. But these are minor compared to the differences between their historic party platform and the positions of their presumptive nominee.
Finally, I believe I have just as much a chance of beating Hillary Clinton in November as Donald Trump does. Maybe better.
Republicans, the choice is yours.
A desiccating carcass of a political party attempting to ressurect itself from a heap of hide, clumps of hair and scattered bones.
It’s mine, but I’ll admit I was channeling @theghostofeustacetilley at the moment.
Trump:GOP - Implied Contract?
“If the parties’ conduct or the circumstances suggests they had an agreement or understanding that created an obligation, then the law will find that they had an implied in-fact contract. For example, assume your neighbor hires you to mow his lawn every Friday for the entire summer.”
