Idjit. Missed opportunity. Trump should tell the crowds the bombs are the work of dangerous Middle Easterners in the caravan.
This was inevitable (inevfefeable) the instant his handlers forced him to condemn the attacks. It’s pathological. He cannot control himself. Enough talking about me, why don’t we move on to what you think of me?
Bombs are not known for their self-awareness.
(ETA: Sort of like malignant narcissists. And puppets.)
President Donald Trump called the attempted bombings “unfortunate” on Friday, but not because of the many lives possibly endangered by the domestic terrorism — instead, because he thinks the coverage is dampening Republicans’ midterm enthusiasm.
Dick.
Have a good look in the mirror and you’ll probably get a glimpse at what is slowing GOP enthusiasm. Maybe a few of them have a clue by now.
He’s maybe not a brilliant (or very stable) politician.
Take it away, @pwnallthethings:
I guess we no longer need to speculate if/how the president would unite the country in the aftermath of a terror attack.
As I commented to a coworker yesterday, the Orange Outrage is a walking, talking DSM-IV.
All this winning during infrastructure week is getting tiresome.
This MAGABomber went off script. Doesn’t he know how inconvenient to Trump it is to try to attack the people he targets right before the midterms!
He ought to blame the bombers for that, but is politics- and harming the GOP- the ONLY lens he can view this? SOMEBODY (or several somebodies) attempted to assassinate prominent politicians and other individuals and organizations perceived to be anti-Trump and all he is worried about is how it might harm the GOP’s midterm electoral chances? Well, frankly, if it harms the GOP, they richly deserve it, because they’ve all gone along with Trump verbally attacking all of the targets of this domestic terrorism, if not engaged in some of the same kind of rhetoric themselves against them as well. Trump/GOP built this.
I’m too busy fielding job offers for building Saudi defense systems to care. Who needs highways when 38 million Americans will be getting rich constructing fighter jets?*
*Ooops! It’s up to 41 million now!! Getting better by the hour!
Ironically, I think Trump complaining about the perceived political effects of the bombs will (if nothing else, by keeping them above the fold) have substantially more effect on the GOP at the midterms than the bombs themselves did.
That’s funny. Because I blame Republicans (from every fucking one of their scum politicians down to their toothless racist trash followers) for literally all of the ills that hold our country back and make it a really horrible place for millions.
I’ll never trust or deal with a Republican any longer than I absolutely have to. They’re fucking all dead to me and I’ll never stop going after their asses. They’ve made enemies for life.
Curious as to why, in his logic, bombs sent to Liberal/Democrats would slow Republican voting?
Is he afraid it is making his supporters think twice. Maybe reluctant to participate in a train wreck?
I am so retiring on Soros money - who needs to build jet fighters or nucular bombs and submaboats.
I guess you could say that tRump’s campaign has bombed.
Trump Blames Bombs For Slowing GOP Midterm Momentum
-
Anything’s better than taking personal responsibility.
-
What Trump knows about actual bombs and momentum wouldn’t fill a tea-spoon.
Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows - news not talking politics.
OK. How about talking about how tariffs are killing the average American farmer and the politics of that??
