“Now my good friend, Duterte, on the other hand - wait, wait, yeah I know he sounds Mexican, but he kills people so bigly. I think I’ll invite him and we can go shoot up 5th Ave together. I’ll have the higher body count, y’know - believe me - but he’ll do all right.”
Trump will always bemoan the constitution.
If the MSM ignores these two threats to our freedoms, then there should be a massive and I mean massive shift in how we are going to have to treat the for-profit MSM.
The for-profit MSM, until now, made lip-service at being a “free press”. If the fix is in to get favourable MSM enabling to get Trump to the White House it should be made clear to all–using whatever means of communication we have left–that Trump has spoken against.
- Freedom of the Press and
- Right of Trial by Jury
All in the same day. What say you, MSM?
But this buffoon would have one upped Obama and captured Bin Ladin. Damn, the hypocracy never ends.
Did we lose the presumption of innocence after 911 or just now? Either way I don’t want to live in the same horror of a country as Trump.
And why is it a sad situation? If Trump were king there would be a quick tribunal and execution by firing squad.immediately thereafter.
Donald Trump claims he had a distant relationship with anything having to do with Trump University, but my guess is he was the professor for Fascism 101.
I wouldn’t even want to TEST that theory. The initial stages of George W. Bush’s §residency were so lackluster and ineffectual and I was CERTAIN that he would be a one-termer. Well, we all know how THAT turned out. And no matter how sour things went, the GOP Congress never held him accountable for anything- and vociferously obstructed the Democrats from doing so during his last two years in office. If Trump wins, I certainly wouldn’t wait for Ryan and/or McConnell (if they hold Senate) to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump for anything.
President Lex Luthor would be outraged at being compared to the likes of Trump.
Trump definitely not another John Adams.
Room service? You mean the guy won’t have to walk to McDonald’s? Yeah, hospital room-service is a real high-end luxury item.
I used to think Trump was a world-class bullshitter. Now: Just a bullshitter. The Baron of Bullshit, dispensing an unbroken blizzard of bullshit.
Trump added that “on top of all of that, he will be represented by an outstanding lawyer,”
I realize Trump sticks both feet in his mouth multiple times per day, every day, but he does know that when he’s hopefully under criminal investigation for bribery, illegal fundraising, tax evasion, etc. that he too will get outstanding representation if he can’t afford to pay his current, only mediocre, lawyer.
And the bar drops just a few inches lower…he really is detestable, despicable and DEPLORABLE. My true disdain, however, is reserved for those fools who think he would actually be able to “…faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of [his] ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He will “execute” the office, that you can count on. Let’s hope he never gets the chance. The eternal question which should be posed to him, “You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?” I think we all know the answer to that last one. We could sure use a lawyer like Joseph N. Welch today. Heck, I’d take the decomposed body of Edward R. Murrow!
Trump: “Kill these terrorists NOW in case there is any chance they can be proven innocent… they had their chance with the Central Park Five and look what happened, they were innocent and got off scott free dammit!!!”
Hate and intolerance - the trumpian way.
This is not a stupid thing for Trump to say. Consider the audience. The man’s messaging is spot on.
True enough. But there’s another wrinkle this time around, and that’s Trump’s wonderful relationship with the Republican leadership on The Hill. It’s really quite a love-fest. A fair number of G.O.P. Congresscritters have already said they won’t vote for him, and another sizable chunk can’t bring themselves to utter his name. I can well imagine them deciding that Pence would be easier to work with. Bush never had that kind of relationship with the Congress, and Cheney was already the acting President anyway.
Impeachment is always a political act, not a legal one.
And you were worried about the FEMA camps.
Keep talkin’. Just keep right on talkin’ little man.
You might turn around and ask how Britain could have followed Boris and Falange down the primrose path themselves and how in the world they could have voted to leave the EU.
I know you’re friends, but I take a somewhat dim view of Britain having any criticism for us right at the moment.
They already did their Trump thing - and the Trump thing won there.
She was beyond furious when Brexit was approved and even more furious when the leader of the movement attended Trump’s event.
