It follows from everything else he’s said: free expression hampers our ability to fight terrorists; we should profile; we should basically ignore or tear up the constitution altogether because it’s just all about political correctness - except for the 2d that came from god and is inviolable - and unnecessary for a President Trump.

WTF is wrong with this guy? Seriously, law enforcement puts together an amazing response to catch this person, and his concern is that he might be getting some medical care and a lawyer? Who cares if he does? The important thing is he’s not a threat anymore. Does anyone really think possible terrorists are sitting there going “Oh, even if we get caught no biggie, we’ll get a lawyer and a hospital room”? Of course not. They don’t care what their punishment is going to be. In fact, true justice and humane treatment would embarrass them more.
This is awful, even for him. He’s basically playing into a primal desire for revenge, payback, brutal violence that may arise in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy, but almost immediately dies as more functional thought processes kick in. To stoke that type of response is truly sub-human.

But I seriously think that in fairly short order, Trump, being as unstable and ignorant as he is, would do something that would outrage every Congresscritter to the left of Jason Chaffetz and/or with an IQ higher than Louie Gohmert.

I’m an ‘evil’ fan myself…
Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony and anger are common Trump behaviors and possibly even sloth if one discounts the screaming work ethic PR and considers the cushy egg basket Trump inhabits has he’s ferried by his plush jet between events and his plush tower.
A dear friend of mine who lives in England asked me the other day, “How did Trump get nominated? The guy is a joke, a dangerous joke.”
