The NYT, WaPo and many others were very much vindicated by the Mueller Report, which is what has Donnie’s shorts in a bunch. Are they perfect? No. Do they have a slant? Yes. But they, overall, do a pretty good job.
On that note, I was extremely disappointed that they NYT, in their coverage of the law suit, changed ‘Democrat Party’ to ‘Democratic Party’ in a quote; no (sic), no mention of the change. Sort of pissed me off.

Tom Joseph (@tomjchicago) is Twitter’s resident dementia watch person. He does great tweets about Trump’s state of mind. While his predictions of Trump’s downfall due to mental instability may seem overly optimistic, I look at it more as a plausible path that could be made a reality if a few things fell into place, mainly political pressure from the Democrats and the general public. Tom’s point, if you step back and look at it, is that his Presidency is built on a weak house of cards that is sustained only by bluster and the inability of people who are complicit to choose country over party. If we punch through that hole, this Adminstration will fall. If we don’t, then there are transactional interests which could prop him up and allow him to survive. He’s worth a look if you use Twitter.
