Bingo. Give him credit for that one!!
No more Donnie!
No more Donnie!
He admits he whines until he wins.
So do 3 year olds.
OMG our country is so fucked. This guy is actually leading in the ® polls?
When this looks moderate–or even left of center–the debate frame has shifted dramatically.
Well, there you go. A position that’s not batshit insane gets Trump a headline.
The subtle partyism of lowered expectations?
Do you hold the same position if the woman is not your mistress?
With a huge hat tip to the media in framing it so Trump sounds more moderate. Notice the media is now completely ignoring all of Trump’s blatantly racist comments in the past as well as his birther tantrum about the President.
"“Well, the biggest problem I have with Planned Parenthood is the
abortion situation. I mean, it’s like an abortion factory, frankly,”
Trump said about the organization. "
Goddam liar. Trump escalates in every comment he makes… The main purpose of PP isn’t abortion. Its women’s heath care.
When an abortion opponent says that he supports exceptions for rape or incest he is acknowledging the role of the woman in question. He is acknowledging that pregnancy requires a great deal of a woman. When he reacts in disgust and says that no woman should be forced to have her rapist child, he realizes the psycgological burden of pregnancy. If you realize this, however, how can you be so misogynistic and cruel to not acknowledge the same burden and personal agency of all women? Once you realize that pregnancy is an act as well as a state of being, continuing to hold an anti-abortion view is indicative that you really only say you are anti abortion because of tribalism and misogyny.
Tribalism and misogyny are core GOP values these days.
Then take it away again, because he calls Planned Parenthood an abortion factory. Anybody with a computer (or assistant) can find out only 3% of PP’s services are abortion.
Now this should cost Trump some votes.
And not only that he has saner positions than the rest of the GOP candidates.
Why? The GOP contenders are well to the right of GOP voters — especially on this topic.
And any one who cares deeply about this is already voting for Santorum, or Jindal, or Rubio, or Bush , or Walker, or Kasich or Cruz and I forget who else.
That’s pro-choice; you’re just restricting the choice vis a vis the type of pregnancy. Strident forced birthers are concerned only about the fetus; it’s origination is irrelevant.
Also, Trump is full-fledged pro-choice. This is just continued meta-trolling.
Rubio recently supported “no exceptions”. I dare say Santorum’s in that camp as well. And a fair percentage of the GOP voters are against abortion of any sort. Those are the folks I was referring to when I said Trump could lose votes. Then again it’s been a very strange time for the GOP contenders.
“I think he’s probably right. I am the most fabulous whiner. I do whine
because I want to win,” Trump said in response. “I am a whiner, and I’m a
whiner and I keep whining and whining until I win.”
The man admits his immaturity.
I wish someone could biyatch slap him in public.
A functional media would have asked Rubio if that standard would apply to his wife and/or daughter.
Well, that is it for “The Trumpster”.
He has committed the Cardinal Sin of a Republican Presidential Candidate: He has said something rational.
Of course, the Blond Blowhard can still pull it back and say “Anyone who disagrees with me is a LOSER!” and get some of that old Buffoon Belligerence back.
We shall see. It seems the Tea-Baggers are just so pissed at the world that they will back ANYBODY who screams whatever they want to hear.
