Some are calling Tapper’s interview with Miller “normalization.” I don’t see it that way: I see it as Tapper smacking back against the psychotic WH narrative in a way that very few mainstream media have yet engaged.
It is time to stop paying attention to Trump and the Trump-promoting apologists, propangandists and story-tellers on his staff. It just feeds his needs and madness. We need to focus on who can get us out of the fix we are in.

With a swift response from Trump, does this mean this interview was special to Trump. The size of reaction is bigger than seems appropriate. I was surprised that Trump hit Twitter that fast. It is a knee jerk reaction from someone not in control of their emotional state. It certainly did not help the image or sense of distance.
Tapper had to read that Tweet and had a “Gotcha where ya live” moment.

There’s nothing coming out of this administration for you or me – or for your basic not insane American voters who are trying to figure things out. In the end, Trump’s going to pay for that. America’s got nobody but the media telling them about this administration, and Trump lost the media (other than hopeless Fox) a long time ago.
Miller, with those dead eyes, has a face that just begs to be slapped.

Trump Attacks Tapper After Contentious Interview With White House Aide
What a whiny weenie.
They set it up in order to try to get Current Occupant under control and back on track. Tapper was right: it was a performance for an audience of one.

Tapper lost his patience for bullshit a while ago. I’ve generally been impressed with his and Chuck Todd’s more confrontational skepticism. They’re obligated to put some of these idiots on but they haven’t gone easy on them.

Some folks are pointing out (I do not have the stomach to watch it myself) that Tapper asked Miller if Trump Sr. met with the Russians at the June Trump Tower meeting, and Miller said he can’t answer, while looking quite uncomfortable. That seems like a rather big deal.
It went over like a lead balloon.

And where was the rest of the gang? They set him up with three Big Macs in front of the television and then scampered away to destroy Medicare.
The Miller/Tapper interview was a total set up for 1) someone had to be sent out to defend Trump’s fragile ego and 2) so he could be distracted for all of Sunday and spend his time on Twitter. Miller is a racist fool and Tapper did a good job of pushing back, but make no mistake this was all set up so Trump could rage-tweet and feed his deplorable base.
