Um…Yes. But first the Christians have to decide which Christians are OK. And then those Christians…
This is him taking the high road, since he didn’t outright suggest that they be beaten.
The article left out the part of the story where the “Christian” crowd booed Trump for his bad joke!
Wait, What?! That didn’t happen?! Unbelievable, right?
Trumps version of the “Nuremberg Laws” would be the first thing passed by a fawning, subservient Congress if he gets into office.
Bank on it.
It is actually far too late to start drinking; so much of the low nastiness and stupidity of this campaign is already irrevocably stuck in my brain’s long-term memory.
Even at this very late date in the election, every so often I still get the feeling that Trump’s whole campaign is perverse performance art / grifting routine that just got out of hand, and that he doesn’t actually even want the job.
This is what is so infuriating about those in a position of privilege – they think they can control the consequences of their irresponsible actions.
After a humiliating defeat in 2008, the GOP courted the most reprehensible and reactionary of their fringe to shore up support for Republicans, never considering the long-term damage it would do to the governance of this country.
The media treated Trump like a ratings bonanza, and neglected to treat him like a serious candidate throughout the primaries.
The mainstream GOP leaders, believing that the election would moderate and chasten him, ignored the threat of Trumpism, which now threatens their majorities and long-term electoral prospects.
And now, Trump thinks he can control the hatred, racism and vitriol his campaign has unleashed …
I have to say, I find it hilarious that this self-proclaimed conservative Christian crowd wholly embraces the most un-Christian hedonist presidential candidate ever, apparently for no other reason than that he will have an ® by his name on the ballot.
Someone needs to figure out how to put Anti-Christ ® on a ballot one of these years, just to save some time.
Report on Trump company’s Cuba dealings could affect crucial Florida vote
In a development that could cost Donald Trump crucial Cuban-American votes, his casino company once violated the U.S. embargo of Cuba by secretly funding a business foray on the communist island, Newsweek reported this morning.
Trump’s casino company “funneled” at least $68,000 in late 1998 to a consulting firm that traveled to the island in search of business opportunities on Trump’s behalf, Newsweek reported in its cover story called “The Castro Connection.” The article alleges Trump’s senior officers sought to disguise the payment to make it appear as if the consulting firm’s Cuba trip was linked to a Catholic charity.
“there are MILLIONS of people in this country that somehow think he’s qualified…” That’s the horror we face
EXACTLY…
Most of the people there would have to leave, because they obviously have no idea what it actually means to be a Christian
And we thought Romney was gaffe prone?? Trump is so awkward and stupid as to be off the charts!!
Trump sure has those evangelicals fooled. all the time they get fooled.
They think he would really appoint someone on that list he made to the Supreme Court. And for that, they overlook everything else.
I remember when Russia grabbed Crimea, and threatened the rest of Ukraine, these same evangelicals eviscerated Obama for not being tough enough on Putin. Some of these people adopted children from Ukraine and are now supporting Trump. I don’t get how they can so easily be fooled. Trump, the guy who wants to weaken NATO, and renegotiate trade pacts. Apparently, these evangelicals don’t understand that Trump is only looking out for himself. He has business interests all over Eastern Europe. He is funded by Russian oligarchs friendly to Putin. Diminishing European ties, trade pacts, and defense agreements will allow Putin to rise and regain dominance, and that will make Trump’s businesses there more successful.
Well, to be fair, HO did specify “Christian conservative,” which (in their minds) lets them off the hook for what it really means to be and act like a Christian. IOW, these really are just nasty people.
this self-proclaimed conservative Christian crowd wholly embraces the most un-Christian hedonist presidential candidate ever,
There is no more hypocritical bunch of humans on the entire planet than white American Evangelical Christianists.
The next step in his extreme vetting process: Issue national Christian Conservative ID cards. Everyone else… OUT!
Can’t remember where I saw this quote but I think it sums it up. “Trump wants to have the job, Hillary wants to do the job.”
That must have been a pretty terrifying moment for those non-christians with their hands up. Wow.
And furthermore, Trump is a fearful chicken loser for not releasing his tax returns like a real candidate.
The GOP candidate is a straight-up L-U-N-A-T-I-C.
