Discussion: Trump: Asking If I’d Pardon Michael Cohen Is A ‘Stupid Question’

Trump is classless. To be more specific, he is a pig.

Macron’s reaction is pretty great. He’s on a valiant mission and his gaullantry knows no bounds.

In the outhouse – the lower level would be my preference for him.

Stupid is as stupid does, Stupid.

Edit: Of course, earlier posters beat me. It certainly was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the headline.

Was sitting next to a woman on the plane yesterday, and the subject got around to Trump. She lives in a more rural area in Maryland, but the community is wealthy. She has friends who voted for him, and she is still in disbelief that they did so knowing what we all knew then.

We also both agreed that Mueller and company keep tightening the noose until the top of his head blows off.

Trump and his people get offended and always like to pick the question. They’re supposed to answer questions, not rate them.

They’ve never figured out how this journalism thing works.

every reporter in the room should have repeated the question till trump answered of left.

Yeah, at one level any question posed to Trump is stupid as you won’t get an answer that’s candid, honest, coherent. So Q&A becomes a kind of kabuki . No one expects a meaningful result.

OK, I’m gonna cut Trump a break and say it WAS a stupid question, because OF COURSE Trump is going to pardon Cohen.

This made me scratch my head a little:

Trump has so far used his pardon power on two people: Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, a close political ally

How is Apaio an ally? What can Arpaio do FOR Trump? Fellow Traveler? Sure, but I tend to think of an ally as someone that can work with you and you can work with them to accomplish your goals. And Arpaio strikes me more as a useful idiot for Trump to keep his base happy. But, perhaps, that is Trump’s definition of an ally…

Wow. That’s the first time I’ve seen Sergeant Schultz & Corporal LeBeau in civvies !

There are no stupid questions…only stupid people.

Arpaio is an ally birther and oftentimes joined trump in his “mission” to find/expose the truth about President Obama’s birth certificate.

“Stupid question,” Trump responded.

Translation: Of course I plan to pardon him.

Who was it that said ‘there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers’???

Yeah, like I said, “fellow traveler”

Lock him in the fucking basement.

Not a peep from the pee-pee man about the Waffle House or the Canadian van mass murders, because (duh) these were white conservatives, not thugs or terrorists of color.
