Indeed. Truly a matter of national importance.

That was sarcasm by the way.

The abomination then announced FBI and DOJ investigations into Alec Baldwin, Rachel Maddow, Adam Schiff, Colin Kaepernick, and John McCain.

My brain is sputtering. It’s all about the ratings, amirite? His deplorables will love it; it’s got all the elements.
Maybe it will keep him from invading Venezuela this week.
Or not.

Hey Don. Maybe instead of a tweet you should’ve taken out another full page ad in the Times?

Sounds to me like the prosecutor’s office in Illinois committed treason.

I thought it was a witch hunt when FBI and DOJ investigate people for lying to authorities, I wonder what changed.

I’m curious as to how that Jussie Smollett thing a Federal issue?

So… it wasn’t a federal case and the President isn’t supposed to be directing the DOJ, but that’s none of my business I guess. Wow!

There are Federal hate crime laws. If Smollett falsely accused others of committing a Federal crime there’s your nexus.

This is a cable news investigation aimed at a gay, black publicity seeker whose lawyers were able to convince a local prosecutor to better spend his time going after real criminals. The only reason Trump wants the FBI and DOJ to probe Jussie Smollett is he is black, gay and probably guilty of claiming to be a victim. If he were white and straight the story wouldn’t have dominated multiple segments on the View. Smollett would be forgotten by now.

Targeting a private US citizen with the full might of the Justice Department because you don’t like him–this sounds like an autocratic thing to do.
