The scoring for the AHCA bill (the second one, that passed 217-213) should be released soon. I imagine it will throw a monkey-wrench into ® plans, but I wonder if it will increase ® drive to sabotage.

Miserable little ratfkers. They can give or taketh away. You be ‘good’ now people and we’ll see what we ‘feel’ like…

OT: This just in …

90 days, huh? So that means the beginning of September, at which point there will be another extension, because the gravy train must keep rolling on. And that extension will be for something that has absolutely nothing to do with what they’re ostensibly extending, and, oh yeah, it’ll be illegal, too.

Grifters gotta grift.

Like they need any additional stimulus.

Very true. But if the legislative path is stymied, then sabotage seems to be their first and last option to destroy health care.

I’m sure cutting the subsidies to intentionally destroy the insurance markets will play really well in the mid-terms.

(rolls eyes)

That said, they have already brainwashed their base that the markets are already collapsing and that Obamacare is already in a death spiral. So convincing those cultists that intentionally making that real (it is currently still spreading false information at this point) will not adversely affect their base of kook-aid drinkers.

Trump told aides in a Tuesday Oval Office meeting that he wants to end the payments to insurers because he doesn’t gain anything by continuing them, according to a senior White House adviser. “Why the hell would we?” he asked

Insurers are on the hook under the health law to keep paying even if the federal money stops.

Many senior administration officials, including Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, are leery of ending the payments, however, because doing so could immediately unravel the Obamacare insurance markets and strongly discourage insurers from participating next year.

“Look judge, give us some more time for the Senate to bail us out and for the people to forget what we did. All the Liberal Media goes on vacation in August. Besides, my constituents are still madder than hell back home. I had NUNS picketing me at my last town hall!”
