I think that we should get a petition going to remove all metal detectors and require that Capitol Hill and all state buildings be open carry if they continue to force more guns everywhere. It should then be everywhere.
Ohio just installed metal detectors in the state house. They are also contemplating a bill that will allow people to carry weapons into daycare centers. Seriously. FFS.

I was gonna say. We can mock gun free zones when Trump and Carson allow weapons to be carried into their rallies.
The notion that the Second Amendment permits carrying weapons everywhere, except (of course) where the legislators/candidates work, is offensively transparent.

So apropos! Gun humping Texans (of course) plan to begin their drive to end all “gun free zones” in the state and across the country by staging a “…mock mass shooting at the University of Texas.”
Why? Cause the only answer to gun violence is…of course…MORE GUNS! Duh!

Funny and true story about Saint Ronnie: While governor of California, Reagan used to be pro-open carry and made it a point of saying so … until some members of the Black Panthers went walking through the Capitol one day – fully loaded. Totally legal at the time. That quickly changed.
These fuckers are all pro-gun all the time but only if the carrier is of the right persuasion.

All we need some legal Rapists or Terrorist looking people open carry guns in TX. That will change things in a hurry.
The solution is simple. No one should be allowed in Carson or Trump campaign rallies unless they are carrying.

That, he said, would mean “a Wild, Wild West set of circumstances.”
Armed audience with armed Secret Service present = Wild West.
Armed audience without Secret Service present = Wild West in a town with no Sheriff.
Neither scenario is good, but I fail to see how the second one would somehow be better.

I am hoping some good guys with guns mistake them for the real thing.
A bunch of guys in the darkened audience at a rock concert shooting at terrorists with their pistols would totally work out perfectly. The alcohol, marijuana, and ecstasy in the bloodstream of a lot of rock concertgoers would only help.

Because the minute some nutcase pulls a gun on one of these guys, it’ll all be over, huh?
A campaign event that ends up as a shoot-out at the OK corral.
More than once, someone has noted that the Capital is also a gun-free zone. Why is that, when the denizens of that fine institution support everyone having guns everywhere, all the time… except for where they are.
